I have to say, I am so glad I found this video. I did as shown in the video and my top works with no leaks! Thank you! Also I just got a standard o-ring multi pack from autozone and it worked perfectly.

Looks good. I tryed power steering stop leak, with no luck. I plan on flushing that out and putting back new fluid after the repair. What fluid should I use?

what size of orings are needed for ram and tiny one at fluid inlet/outlet. Do you have a source for these?

Sorry, for some reason the last video was deleted from my account. I searched through my videos but deleted it off my phone. This did work great. not a leak. I had to do the other side later in the year as it started to leak.

My 2007 SAAB 9-3 convertible is leaking at the front passenger A-pillar. I suspect the ram to lock the roof is leaking, probably from a dried out o-ring. Do you know if this can be accessed without removing the whole convertible roof?

    But.......
    I can't find part one
    And can't find part three
Would really liked to have seen them.

Part 1 is just me describing the problem and showing where the ram is located.

How did you get the bottom off?

I used a band saw to cut around the crimped end. You can use a hacksaw to do the same thing. You are just cutting into the thickness of the outer ram body. If you cut in too far, it is no big deal. The end you are cutting is just a slug with no sealing surfaces.
Just make sure everything is de burred and smooth before reassembly. This is what causes the Oring to be cut from the factory and leak.
