I didn't knew the term "money trauma" existed till now. Just like you, my family was (is) financially chaotic. I missed out a lot trips from my school and with friends in college due to lack of money. I'm working currently and I have seen how money trauma in my childhood affected me as an adult. One if the signs is that "I just don't spend money". I cannot even think about spending money on myself and if I do I feel guilty. I had similar feeling when my parents bought me something, because I know my family is not financially stable. Many things that my peers take for granted feels like a privilege for me. It is literally weird for me 😡😡😡 how can they think about such bullshit things
My husband is a Tamil guy. Ningal paranja kurachu karyangal cannot be generalized. Nammude naatil kalyanam okke penu veetikaar aanu cheyunhadhu but tamilnadu Lu it’s half chekan and half pennu. Most of the Tamil people are not as greedy as a Malayalee groom off course there are exceptions. Nammude naatil MBBS padichalum dowry chodhikkum. TN Lu penninu job undengi dowry is not a priority.
Nothing like that it's not that they are greedy if boy got own house they ask at least 25 .. but in Kerala they ask for more..... I live in Chennai Perambur . For my best friend the guy they asked for 30 sawaran atlast agreed for 25 sawaran and also a girl's side they give a bike also along with that. My friend is B.E working in lenova she earns nearly 12 k annually . there are other cases too like ...Den one thing in Kerala they ask for more gold as dowary but in Tamil Nadu too they ask but may be less it's not that they not greedy they too ask
