Trucker Josh is an Owner Operator running a 2008 Kenworth W900L out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It's got a Cummins ISX Engine. He is in regional open deck division and covers the area of about a 1000 mile+ radius of Winnipeg in both Canada and the USA.

Bobtailing in the snow is the worst.
When you have plenty of time let the storm pass.
A met a trucker from Manitoba and he had a small generator out back that would heat his cab and keep the truck plugged in
Good plan. Shut 'er down and hunker down.
When slight doubt Wait it out if possible otherwise slow and steady Win's in the end
It was a good thing that Diesel the Weasel was with you cause you would have been a fool with out him in charge; YOU go out in the cold to check the trailer as he must stay at his post in the cab. You must prepare his food and serve it as he is the Lord Weasel in charge not you. Josh you do a good job at following what he tells you. Maybe you can fix his bed and he will let you snuggle up to him but watch it he is Lord Weasel. Keep safe and warm you knuckel heads !!!

Try driving the trip from Calgary to Vancouver in the winter that's a true test of what kind of trucker you are, driving on flatlands is easy

I remember a few times driving OTR when I made bad weather decisions. On couple I don't know how I made it in one piece without some help from above.
I agree with you Josh, it's better to go in daylight. Looking out your front window seeing the wind blowing the snow across the driveway gives me chills. Enjoyed coming along with you & Diesel.
