So should i put my airbnb address on my sim application or wait till i rent my own house before i apply for sin.
You will not need proof of address if you apply in person… and also you will get your sin on the same day if applied in person instead of applying online.
I have a doubt about sin number I am on an open work permit and I am currently in India can I apply for sin number online from India ? Can I put Indian mobile number and Indian mailing address ? Please clarify this doubt
Do u have visa or permit???? SIN can only be applied when you have received your permit. Permit is received at the airport. If you have permit and are visiting India and want to extend or renew your SIN, you can do so online. But if you do not have permit yet, you cannot apply.

Going too long before classes is not advisable because you will have to pay rent and other expenses and you can start work and start earning only when your classes start.
