Being Sgritheall was my my last Munro (and furth) in October 1993 and Ladhar Bheinn my second last. I then returned a couple of years later and completed the Munro tops on Sgrithealls Munro top. Thanks for such a lovely video of a place that's very dear to me, all the very best. 👍
Great video of a rather splendid mountain James... It was my 2nd last Munro + the top's and the Corbett next to it. 👍 A wee word of caution... be careful using micro spikes on steep hill's, it's very easy to come a cropper with them. ATP Jim. 👌
As ever brilliant James sorry but you've set such a high standard that anything less than fantastic just isn't good enough 😜 I really enjoyed this one James and it brought back good memories of when we did it a few years ago 🙂 such a stunning view point when clear ⛰️⛰️⛰️ Superb atb Brian 👍
Great to see you out again enjoying this spectacular hill. Not being a particular lover of going straight up and straight down again, Ben Sgritheall has a lovely pair of Corbetts behind it making a great circuit for another day.
Thanks Eddie, it was a great day - I had planned to do a circuit but didn’t like the look of the route off the other side so I just returned the same way 😁 will no doubt return for the Corbetts one day, Cheers, James
Great video and a special location. Going to Arnisdale is almost like going to an island, it feels so remote. Cracking views as well. Thanks for sharing.
I haven't walked this one yet but it has gone up my wish list after seeing this vid. Excellent photogrraphy especially at 9:32 and some fantastic views. Keep up the great work!
The first time I climbed it I went up from the road a couple of miles west of Arnisdale. I got atmospheric views, with a bit more swirling cloud and less sunshine than in the video, but it was still spectacular. There was no path on that side then (there is now, but you have to look carefully for the start of it). On the route James took, the climb after Bealach Arnisdale is brutal, especially if you take a path up a shallow gully as I did in May this year. Keeping to the crest of the ridge, as my friend did who was with me, is probably better. After taking in the second top, we went down by the western path, and I'd recommend it over the route from the village.
Cracking vid mate🤩! Aye that was special Munro for me.. loved the views and I’m sure that trig point wasn’t like that in 2004 when I did it!! Aye we’ll have to come up with a name for the cloud disappearing from the top when we are on the way down instead of using the usual swear words🤣
That's an absolutely beautiful spot, James - I'd say a return trip might be justified, seeing as you didn't quite get your view in - though the swirly cloud brings its own atmosphere. I see you got you money's worth at the barbers, by the way 😂
Wonderful video again James, what an absolutely stunning location. Those residents of Arnisdale village are very lucky people indeed. Thanks for sharing your adventure as always. Could I just ask what make and where you got your micro spikes from. I'm wanting to get some for this upcoming winter. 😃🥾🏔
I’m really surprised you don’t get more views! There’s a YT person called Liam brown I’ve discovered recently along with yours! Both your vids are amazing and similar - maybe a collaboration with him could get your vids more attention!! Just as a suggestion! Great vids and attention to detail
Just loved the whole atmosphere :) ... excellent video. 36 days... Can I ask a question? Do you track your hikes eg outdoor active ...because it wud be so good to literally follow your footsteps 👣 M ☘️
Absolutely stunning cinematography my friend, these shots and your narration are simply outstanding! Fantastic piece of art!
Thank you 😁🙏
Perfect tonic after a crap, wet November. Can't believe that's been 36 days since your last stomp! Great video again James 👌👌

Totally sympathise. I can't tell you the amount of times conditions have cleared up behind me after waiting an hour for a shot... 😂
It is a common occurrence for me.. im sure the weather has it in for me 😂
