This is my first time trying out this new angle with the GoPro, so it may look a little weird at points. I was using a hat, and you can see in the beginning while stepping out to look at the car and at 12:15 the hat starts falling down and messes up the angle. I'm going to try and make more POV videos and eventually find the perfect angle. If you liked the video though, leave a like. And let me know what you think of it. Thanks. ;)
Great pov. And people think 3v's are slow...You drove it fast. That was some 'seat of your pants' driving right there. What a testament to the 3v running so strong with those miles... Not sure the coyotes have the same longevity. I've seen some stuff, and some things.., man
@@Fatality_2001 DCT/DSG have come along way. Especially VWs DSG cars are pushing out 400+ with that. Haven’t studied if the 900+ cars are running dsgs but there should be mods for those trans as they’ve been out for years. Fords I believe 10R80? Whatever their 10 speed is named is a beast and can well outshift its respective manual. Depending on if their is power mods for that trans and whether or not you care about modding your car to the point the trans is the weak point would really decide whether or not a manual is king but that’s all subjective. Either way both style trans are great and have good applications.
Nothing wrong with an automatic, yes manuals are more fun, but not everyone has the extra cash to dish out for a manual. Especially with how many people get these for first cars, i’d rather have an auto mustang gt than a manual lemon.
How are the cats on your x pipe holding up? I’ve heard mixed things about BBK quality, but I’m ready to upgrade from the Pypes splice in x pipe I have now.
Great for the price. But they smell like skunk sometimes when you gun it. Which is the material they use inside the cat. Rusting only slightly on the welds and that’s because in Tennessee it “snowed” 3 times this winter and they salted the roads like CRAZY.
I had already had the 19x8.5” fronts. I bought the rear pair of 19x10” for around $350 a couple years ago when they were on sale. They were black wheels, it cost $100 in prep and paint to paint them white. I used the Rustoleum Gloss White and Eastwood 2K Clear Coat. It’s an aerosol paint job that didn’t turn out too bad. So you won’t be able to find or buy these wheels for how much it costs me. If you want the style, they are AM GT350 rep wheels and $1050 for the whole set. Or you can go to Fitment Industries and get a set of Option Lab R716’s for under $970. They look the same as the GT350 reps and are already painted white. You’d save a ton on supplies paint and prep.
@@noahbolt sick. I’m thought it looked about 190+. I’m buying a 3v n with the 5 speed that was around 175~ miles on it that’s very clean, and runs great. And I was a truck driver over the road before so that looked like a familiar place 🤣
Nope. Janky Lexani LX-Twenties, which are actually believe it or not better than Nittos for straight line traction. A lot of it has to do with my suspension. I’m loaded with Whiteline and BMR suspension as well as KSport coilovers. I am experienced in this short of driving, but doing it with a GoPro in between by eyes makes it a challenge.
Off of eBay. Unfortunately they go up and down on eBay all the time. It’s rare that they’ll stay up for longer then a week. I’m lucky I got mine. The title of the one I got was something along the lines of “GT Badge Steering V8 Horn”.
I’ve got everything listed in the description. It’s a long list lol. Everything suspension. The only thing suspension related that’s still factory on the car is the subframe and steering knuckles. If those can even be considered suspension. Engine wise, all I need is long tube headers and then the car will be FBO. Drivetrain is a mix of Exedy, McLeod and FRPP. Once again, nothing drivetrain related is factory. Except for the rear axle housing. The car is pretty done up. And I’m not even close to being finish with it.
That thing is banging gears is that because of the clutch I have 410 gears and it doesn't even break the tires loose when I shift. Maybe I don't know how to drive 🙃 🤔 😕
@@wayneculmer7880 Haha. No it’s because my car is full bolt-on minus long tube headers, and I have a rebuilt trans, Exedy stage 3 clutch, and an aluminum one piece driveshaft. I can go sideways shifting into 3rd if I snatch it quick enough, and most of the time I’ll chirp the tires going into 4th. I also run the best fluids money can buy so that may have a little to do with it. But above all, my tires aren’t the best. I’m on Lexani LX-Twenties, which aren’t really made for 300whp RWD cars.
@@wayneculmer7880 I know dude! It gets pricey as well! My shopping list is still 2 pages long even now and it's about $10,000. But I may be selling the car in a few months. I need something more cross-country friendly as I'm moving 2,000 miles back to Las Vegas.
I would recommend going with something similar to this setup. An x pipe, muffler deletes axle backs and then two mid mounted mufflers/resonators. I think these 3V's really get their best sound from having a mid mounted muffler setup. The axle back muffler setup leads to rasp, drone, and an overall dull sounding plane jane V8 tone. It lacks depth. On the other hand, with the mid muffler setup, I feel it definitely gives it that depth and makes it more full. If you want the same exact tone as mine, I have everything listed in the description on what's on the car to achieve it. I'm definitely going to be adding BBK long tube headers in the future though, just to give it that last bit of extra grunt I want out of it.
@@ThatLoud3v Thanks. I'm going to get new over axle pipes and weld on some new mid-mounted mufflers though. My exhaust is rattling like crazy at 2750 RPM and it drives me up the wall (I drive over 100 miles a day). And I still want just a tad bit more. Straight piped is absolutely awful. So not that. But I'm thinking Pypes over axle (again because my currents are smashed in) and try some of Black Widow's Neighborhater mufflers mid-mounted. I'll make a thorough exhaust video on it once I get that installed. Do you happen to have a video on your exhaust? That sounds like a great setup.
@@borage7122 Not even close. Everything was modified except for exhaust manifolds. New engine, CMCV delete plates, underdrive pulleys, Airaid cold air intake, aluminum flywheel, Exedy Mach 500 clutch, FRPP one piece aluminum driveshaft, 4.10 gears, built transmission, BBK high flow catted x pipe, Vibrant resonators, muffler delete pipes, and a mix of Whiteline, BMR and Steeda suspension. I sold the car though and got the 5.0 that’s in my profile picture. All mods that I could swap over, I did. But exhaust parts, engine parts and drivetrain parts are not interchangeable unfortunately.

Yep, 5th is to lower rpm's and give better gas milage at highway speeds. If you ever tow anything, don't tow in 5th.

Did you have traction control of or was it actually spinning 3rd🤣
