    Btw your video is clear and helpful! I bought the autel 808 straight from autel for only $410. I followed your instructions for a regen and it failed so next steps is this process. I’m all for saving money! Thank you so much.

      Normally if one fails. It is due to the Engine Light is still on. If that's the case. That repair needs to be resolved before you regen. Sometimes you can regen with the Engine Light on,but it depends on the cause.

    What is the name of the sensor at the 1:55 minute mark, one of my lines broke off...do you have a part catalog for the part. Everything has been a hassle for my DPF, stuck sensors, stuck bolts, and its a southern van.

    What type of socket did you use on the top side @dairleautoclassicrestorati6892, working on ours now and they were stuck, even after pb blaster. Looks like a small extension and impact socket? What size socket, 1/2 or 3/8 drive?

      If it is the socket that I think that you are referring too. Here is the information.

    Very good video tutorial, you make it look easy... but still I'll give it a try given the $takes and use the vid time and again for guidance. Is this the same procedure in a 2.2L and 3.2L? In other words I can't figure out if this is one of the mostly UK vids or not.
    I've found a DPF cleaning company close to home and all I need to do is take it from my 350 3.2l to them and back on.

    • @dairleautoclassicrestorati6892
      @dairleautoclassicrestorati6892  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you ! Yes this is the same procedure for the 3.2 350. The vehicle that I use was a 2018 HD350 3.2L. You will be saving more 💰 than I did by you taking it and having it clean. I hope the video help. And thank you again!

      @@dairleautoclassicrestorati6892 Thank you for the reply Dairle, that's music to my ears! After yours, I watched another vid that said "IDK how you could do it without a lift" indeed, because his procedure was to remove so many parts (subframe, lower control arm, etc, etc) that it left me gutted. I've got two quotes for DPF delete ($1800 and $2500) and if I can do it for the $ 200 cleaning fee, my wallet won't be shot to pieces! You got another sub.

    Great video I have a Ford Transit Diesel and it has been giving me a fit and most of that is because of the lack of skilled technicians at the Ford dealerships. I have one question. Why did you not consider cleaning the existing filter and what is your opinion on that?

    • @dairleautoclassicrestorati6892
      @dairleautoclassicrestorati6892  Рік тому

      That is a good question. It would be ideal to see if you can have it clean.That is a money saver and a 50/50 chance that it can be clean. I felt that it was too far gone.

      If I understand you correctly. That is a inlet. If you are unable to regen. You can try and have it professionally cleaned. Or Replace it like I did in the video. It's sad to say the life for these filters are around 100,000 miles.

      Some codes will not stop you from regenerating. A PO O72 code can prevent you to move forward. The ECM wants to make sure you have the proper air temp. There can be many reasons why you have a P0246 code which involves the operation of the Turbo.

      Ford said that these Filter are good for 100,000miles. Most of the time you can get away with just doing a regen. I am over a 100,000 and the vehicle would not take a regen. Also the vehicle dash keeps telling me that the filter is full.
