I just started watching your videos and currently I am binge watching all of them. I would like to say as someone who is a truck driver and I drive up to 11 hours a day. We truckers have a lot of back and hip problems by the time we retire. Do lots of stretching and touch your toes and stretch those legs…which I can see that you do lots of walking which helps.
You're a great driver! Blue is such a sweetie pie! You had him flying into the truck when the strays came upon you, quick momma! Beautiful scenery! Drive safe and enjoy the scenes! ❤😊❤
Use your GPS on your phone, it will tell you how many miles to next diesel station. Always keep a 5 gallon gas can full when traveling just to be sure. Love your channel and your dog.
No!! I didn't want your video to stop, so freaking awesome. You are so brave, seeing those dogs coming toward you guys and your love for Blue is overwhelming. God bless you on this ride. Pray 4 you and beautiful Blue's health. Can't wait next 📹. 😊
Snow as you go...burr! Good timing with the dogs at that fuel station. You saved Blue, for sure. Yep, that was some beautiful country. Sweet dreams in the snow.
When my son lived in Skagway Alaska, that Whitehorse Walmart was the closest one to him; about a 4 hour drive, one way. Then he and his wife did a similar trek from Skagway to Traverse City MI; driving a Uhaul pulling a trailer. He said it was about a week worth of journey.
Yay you! You kept Blue and yourself safe and sound! I loved driving through the Yukon and British Columbia… but not in winter! So far, so good…keeping my fingers crossed for you and sending good vibes.Keep on “truckin’. 0:30 🤞😊
You handled those pups perfectly! No running, stood your ground, firm voice but no shouting to aggravate them, perfection 👌🏻. I know you’d fight anything for blue if it came to it. As a fellow dog mom (two mini doxies) I’ve already had to fight off or stand-off with raccoons, deer, opossums, and birds of prey for my dogs and I wouldn’t hesitate to fight a cougar or bear for my dogs; granted I’d probably lose but I’d fight like hell for my pups. I’m sure you would too!
I once drove across the Nullarbor Plain - sealed but very secluded road joining east and west Australia. I was relying on the GPS to get to the next petrol stop. When I got to said "petrol station" all I saw was a water well with nothing around it. Managed to get to the next petrol stop with 5kms of petrol left on the meter. Lucky lesson for me to always keep fuel level up when travelling in the country.
Be careful driving over those bridges. They are usually iced over much quicker than the roads. I’m also sure u know that you’re in Grizzly country. Yet they are probably in hibernation in the winter but they still come outta their dens during hibernation. Drive safe
I'm impressed how well you handled that situation with the dogs and how really unbothered Blue was by them, lol I get nervous with dogs in general and unfortunately I'm more of a freeze person and I can't imagine what would've happened in a situation like that to a freeze person! Can't believe you were in Alaska for 6 months, what a ride. You saw so much, thanks as always for taking us along! Safe travels and kisses to Blue! 💙

I am part Hawaiian, born in Hawaii, but I did live in Alaska for a few years when I was a kid. This would have been 1981-84. I loved it as a kid, because all I did was play! I never saw the struggles people went through to live in Alaska. Back then, Alaksa was even more rural than today. My parents live near Wasilla, and yes, my mom is Hawaiian also and she misses Hawaii, her homeland. I am planning to move back to Alaska to care for them. I am much older than you, but I think people always dream of doing something like this: traveling across the US and visiting places. I did some traveling in my college years, from 1991-1996. I drove across the US many times, but not in a camper or sleeping in a car. I remember once I was trying to find an exit at 3am, to Batavia, Illinois. I pulled over on the highway and looked at a map. (This was 1995, no cell phones or internet). Suddenly someone knocked on my window. It was highway patrol. He gave me directions. But it was so spooky. Now in my older years, I want to travel across the US again, but in a camper this time and actually visit places and see things. Hawaii is beautiful, but I am from here, I want to go other places lol.

Maria - I love the way you put Blue out of danger and clearly showed up as the leader to those dogs. Dang, I am impressed (not that I expected anything less from you but still impressive).
Maybe look into one of those DC-DC battery chargers so while your driving it charges the battery at say 15 or 30amps rather than trickle charge via the 12v cigar lighter. You could also rig up with a "house" battery for things like USB stuff, lights and your diesel heater. Then use the Jackey for laptop and fridge......
😊 great way to save your pup❤😂so fast! I just heard tonight on Facebook that the Sierra mountains in California are to get 10 ft of snow! Please keep that in mind wherever you're driving. Check the weather. 🙏
