Colorectal MDT and Treatment | UHL NHS Trust

This videos explains what a colorectal MDT is and the various treatment options that may be
possible. It explains that at this stage all of your test results are collected together. They are
then discussed in a multidisciplinary team meeting (or MDT).
This is a time where experts meet together and discuss each case individually. The MDT
consists of Surgeons, Radiologists, Histopathologists, CNS, and Oncologists.
Every patient is given a recommended treatment option which is the combined expert
opinion of the MDT.
