How someone can dress like a construction worker and be cute as a button and beautiful all at the same time is the paradox that is Sinead O'Connor. R.I.P.
And a lot of us dressed in a similar way because of her. Although it's not really touched on in all the obits she was a fashion icon for young rebel girls!
What a powerhouse of a voice! No auto-tune, no synchronized distracting dancers, no shitty looking rhinestones and pancake makeup! Just her voice and the band!

@veraluciadeandrade9044 Madonna was super jealous of Sinead, probably because Sinead had a hundred times the vocal ability and raw talent and beauty as Madonna ever had. Madonna did her best to kick Sinead when she was down too.

Best performance I've ever seen at a pop festival. She only had one album out, so as an encore she decided to sing an acapella folk song (Streched on your grave, I think it was). The audience was as quiet as a mouse. Truly amazing. So sad she's gone.

What really saddened me, however, was that for the past ten, fifteen years, Sinnead O'Connor seemed to have believed that she could defeat the tabloid monster by "overfeeding" it...
