We are coming tomorrow for our first visit to Hercules! We came all the way from Brussels, Belgium and have scheduled our vacay to ensure we can stop in. Can’t wait to try this and hopefully meet some of you lovely peeps!!
ooooh, that is amazing to hear that you are making that far of a trip to visit this shop. I am kinda thinking of ordering some sour candy from here myself.
You do it well my friend ❤ your channel been here since the basement days have seen faces come and go. I have learned a lot from your Dad in working with chocolate thanks Steve, well thanks to the whole team in bringing us some much needed fun.
So fun watching the employees compete in the daily Hercules tasks. I thought for sure Steve had it for the hard candy bag weight!! I love the little green apples that Julia painted on the creams. They look awesome!! I'm sure they taste amazing too!!❤❤🍫
I'm pretty sure Julia has been the only one to be able to fill the entire starch tray with one fill of the funnel. I also love that she sifts the tails out when they are done. I don't think anyone else does that.
I think it would be cool to have a sped up time lapse of the candy making process. Like someone hand covering or a wide shot of the room while making hard candy. It would be interesting to see the process from a big picture prospective since we get to see it close up normally!
Question: Why don't you all use the scoop sifter thing (that you use to get the trails out) to take the creams out of the cornstarch in the first step, so it would get the cream and the trails out at the same time? Just curious if there is a reason you do it in 2 steps instead of just one. 🤔
I've been wondering about that for a long time. Maybe it squishes the creams? Knowing how Terry likes to keep things simple, but quick, I'm thinking that maybe they already tried.
Running the whole tray through the large sifter first is more efficient than using the small sifter multiple times and with the hand held sifter we'd have to be very careful not to drop the creams into the large bin of corn starch.
First time seeing your content and I was always curious on how to make candy. Thank you for sharing your process with us all. For TV show recommendations I would recommend "The Manifest", "New Amsterdam", "House", "The Blacklist", "The Circle" and "The Good Place". Amsterdam and House are similar to Grey's, Manifest and Blacklist are action dramas, Circle is a "gameshow" but I don't want to spoil too much there, Good Place is a great comedy, I've had a lot of fun watching and it has more plot twists that an M. Night Shyamalan movie. Hope that keeps Julia busy for a week. Have a great day everyone!
oh how i wish i could afford some of those tasty chocolates !!! plus if i ordered now they would be a puddle of chocolate creams everywhere ...its like 114 * here in Oklahoma...i will keep dreaming to try some one day ...save some moolah and treat myself when its cooler out .... u all are always a joy to watch keep up the good work !!!
Those conveyor belts look like such old timey Willy Wonka contraptions. Is there much loss of chocolate? I can see it's just recirculating but Shirley there's a lot of lost chocolate in between fresh batches.
Am I the only one that doesn't like sour candy? It's really bad for your teeth, too. I have ordered other things from Hercules, though, and everything was delicious!
Why don’t you do an interview with Cooper? I miss seeing him on. I know he got a new job somewhere but it’s been long time since we seen Cooper. He was always a big part of the show. I think so find Cooper and do an interview.
you know, as someone from Albuquerque, i actually do not like Breaking Bad at all, i guess maybe it is because they built a giant statue of Walter rather than commemorating something, anything, historically significant. I mean shoot, i would rather have a statue of Neil Patrick Harris or Bill Gates here in Albuquerque than a meth maker. Those candies look delicious with the chocolate, though i love anything sour apple.
@@juliafromhercules Lord Almighty, a moment amongst moments! Look at me dabbling in conversation with the famous! Give Steve my regards and please, do mention that the "8/10" was just a shield to not come across too creepy with the first half of my comment! I've heard that UA-cam comments can be somewhat of a slippery slope! He's easily a 9... 😉

Thank you 👌
I love the vibe of this channel it seems like everybody gets along and are happy❤
We do and we are! And my goal since I started this channel was to make the viewer feel like they're just hanging out with us

Craig behind the camera means we’re laughing A LOT 😂
Hercu-lympics. Love this ❤
Awww shucks 🥰
Making candy by hand is a crazy process. 👏
Time consuming, but a labor of love
Never let Julia leave the company! She's worth her weight in chocolate! LOL
Which these days is worth a lot!
She is the company
I love the vibrant green color!

Ezra did that in this video too
I did see that after I commented, lol. That's because Julia taught him well.
Julia is very efficient and fun!
Julia is a speed fiend on the creams!
Editing at 23:24 had me crying lmaooooooooo
Would it be possible to somehow combine the green apple creams with caramel?

I love the competition style of this video... it was fun and noone got harmed - let's go for another one in the future
FIFTY SECONDS to fill that whole tray of creams!! That's like a world record.
Wow!!! Julia is a cream dropping machine!!

all those in under a minute? brilliant. i could probably eat them just as fast.
That looks yummy 😋

the rookie on netflix is fun
Julia - watch Better Call Saul. It's fantastic as well.
I recommend watching the series How I Met Your Mother on Netflix . Or Community if you have Peacock
Or Superstore
@@PTP89 yes! Another Great show
@@PTP89Superstore is one of my favourites.
oh that was funny when one said "Pikachu" and another said "Bless you"
Green Apple & Blue Raspberry are my favorite flavors. I recommend watching jersey Shore & Vanderpump Rules
Cremé covered in DARK choc pls… 😋🍫🤎
Also do you do violet cremé? 💜
The good doctor, the resident, house of dragons,
I was going to recommend both of those Medical shows as well!
I will make sure Julia sees this comment!
More videos of Katelyn, she seems so friendly!! ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
WHAT happened to Scotts eyes when he taste the candie? :-)
Be careful, it you eat too many at once it could be permanent! Like when you make a face too long as a kid 😬
Fire country!!!! Good show to watch
9-1-1 is really good, also New Amsterdam. very similar to greys anotomy
24 hours in A&E on Tubi
Wow I didn’t realize your so close in NY I’ve been down your way so many times years ago… 👍🏻
Time to come back for a visit!
I was about to say Kelly green. I forget greens for the Pantone scale tho
Julia is Wil E Coyote over here in the starch room 🏃🏼♀️💨
Under a minute is crazy!
I have been watching you for four years from UAE and I would have liked to try the candy but I am in UAE and there is no delivery i love you guys 😊

It would be cool if you could get some old staff back to attempt to beat Julia's 51 second record. Max and all :)
Scandal is pretty good shondra who put out Grey's anatomy put out Scandal
Looks like it taste good
Try Bob’s Burgers! It’s our favorite
That's nowhere NEAR dark enough to be forest green. I'd say more like kelly or shamrock.
Would a salted caramel work in the creams
what about a direct link to what your making
Julia should watch Jerseylicious from back in the day it's ridiculous lol
Imagine a drizzle of Carmel on them ,....I want a 100...Do u do custom orders??
Id love that with a white chocolate coating. I can't eat cocoa.
Can you do the sour apple covered in carmel instead of chocolate?
Should have found an apple stamp on the tops
Has anyone ever tested the candy for remnants of steel when you hit the hook with a hammer? flakes always fly out.
I love Heartland on Netflix.
I'm curious. How complex is it to clean the chocolate coating machine? The rack the chocolates sit on looks like it would be a pain.

Why do they think all these types of candies need to be covered in chocolate........leave them alone.
Hercules candy
