Great video. I loved the comparison between the Berry and the Gaspard jumpers. I guess I will get the former. As far as the archives are concerned, I did not want to bother because of the time difference. Nine hours ahead of us is not worth it. When I worked up, I checked. There were none of the pieces I liked. But I ended up getting some jeans at the regular price and a belt. Happy Friday and have a good weekend. ❤️
Thank you for the video--great as usual! I was tempted to get up at 3am, but I am too old for that, so I woke up an hour earlier before going to work! 🤣 I still managed to get some of the things that I wanted: I had been hoping to get the Abele dress and I managed to snag one in my size (thought I had to stalk it for a while since it kept being in someone's basked). I also got two sweaters and another dress. I am keeping my fingers crossed for some other items over the next couple of weeks, but we'll see!
Barry was the first piece I ever bought from Sezane but in the new version. I have very similar measurements to you and I got a size medium. It is too big but I actually kept it because I wanted to wear a turtle neck underneath. It is very cold where I live. The next Barry I purchase I will probably size down to the small. I am not bothered by mohair luckily.
I have wanted to try Gaspard but wasn't sure on sizing. Thanks for doing this review.

Gaspard and garry havent being working out well for me in term of sizing. The neck for barry is too low for me. I have placed an order for navy gaspard with stripes and hoping that it will look nice. Cant wait for your upcoming videos. Release them soon please. Lots of love. Zubaida

I was so pissed. I had a few items (very sizes in the hopes some would fit) and was cleaning out my cart, and the time had expired- everything was gone. All the good stuff was gone, or if an item showed up in my size I'd quickly open the page, and it was either sold or the site informed me of low stock. I can't tell you how many times this had happened. I went to work the next morning so tired because of this stupid sale. Ugh. Total blood bath. I did manage to get my hands on the beautiful Johnson coat in gray, a size smaller than what I wanted. Still, It just arrived and it's beautiful. But, yeah, Sezane plays a hard psychological, economic game.

Love your videos Mila! You are the same size as me so it is very helpful in making my Sezane purchases. Do you wear anything under your Gaspard jumpers? I like to wear something underneath to protect against the itchiness, but it's hard to work with the boatneck.
Had a few items in my bag during the first moments of the archives, but thought that they weren't what I really wanted, so let them go. Most of the best bits were gone. Trying to show some restraint ☺️ I'm in Greece and they also started here around 10.17am. We're ahead of France
Hi Mila thanks so much for your detailed review of both the gaspard and the Barry . I have been wearing the gaspard for years now and have many colours . I found a couple of years back their sizing changed and where I would wear a small I had to start ordering an xs. I wondered what size Barrie to get , I guess from your review a S . I was on the fence about trying one as I love the gaspard so much , not so sure I would get as much use especially with the deep v neck . Really appreciate your time and effort . Love your channel xx

I measured Barry and Gaspard in XS and difference was mainly the sleeves and length, the width was about the same. Barry is a bit shorter in general.
Their new version of Barry doesn’t have the V neck as low as the old ones, I compared them on the video 8:52 and it’s about 3 cm higher than old version (little more than an inch). If you’re concerned about the low V neck, I don’t think it would be as bad as the old version 😂
I think if you’re taller than me or weigh more, definitely get the S.
If you have narrow shoulder or are shorter than me, then you should be fine with XS :)

The older jumpers will have been washed a few times already, and that softens the wool, so the new ones will get softer after a few washes.
Actually the oldest one (celadon green) is the scratchiest one. The softest in my opinion is the Iris, which is the newest I got and love so much! Washing should definitely make them softer over time, but I have never washed any of them yet
I'm in France and there was nothing there at 9am sharp. Some restocks at 9:10.
Do your Barry and GASPARD cardigans shed a lot of hair? Does that get better over time?
Yes they shed a bit, but it does get better over time , especially after a few washes!

I have never tried Basile, but from what I know, it’s not as oversized as Achille. I would get my usual size, Small, which is what I wear for Emile and Achille (this one is huge though, but I love it).
Basile is more fitted, not as fuzzy or as itchy as Achille, but some people find it slightly scratchy. That’s what I heard from my followers, but have never tried on!

how do you know when they'll do an archive sale?
They do it twice a year (summer and winter archives). If you get emails from Sézane, you’ll get notified! They also share on their Instagram, Facebook and lots of ads. This year they announced it less than a week in advance, but everyone was expecting it to happen soon as it’s normally in January :)
There is also a Sezan subreddit: most of the time it's pretty slow, but just before the archives people start posting and planning. :)
I didn't get anything from the archives 😭. I checked the app at 9:36 and it was already too late. I got anxious and gave up. Cannot stand that kind of stress. I decided I prefer to pay full price and save the stress 😬. But it's not just the archives. I have been trying to get Sami in natural for 3 months now without success. I don't like this kind of stress sezane is giving me to be honest.
Ohh I totally get it! It can be really frustrating and stressful, especially in the middle of the night 🫣 my first archives were a nightmare!
Are you in the US? I’ve seen some people selling Sami in the Sezane addict groups on Facebook, so it might be easier to check on there or other selling platforms.

Great video but I just want to share my experience: I ordered one after watching all the reviews and I am really disappointed. Personally on me it's very unflattering. I'm an XS but need a bigger size up for my bust which might be why. Secondly, for me in person it is just a plain frumpy cardigan that doesn't live up to the hype. The material is nice though.
