Integy CNC transe case all metal gears and I wanted too kno what wheel/tire u would use with my setup for speed runs? Thanks and I hope too here back soon.

Holy crap, Batman, that 5B is insanely big. How much bigger is it compared to the Kraston 8S? I would love to see that 5B on 14S running a speed gearing. But perhaps those tires might need to be replaced, for something that doesn't ballon as much.
@@masjuggalo I have a radiolink that has it on there and I've seen it work it works great for four wheel drives I can tell you that it will pump look like it's pumping brakes so it does work like it cuz it does locks unlock.
@@bradkalman2353 I'm sorry I didn't mean to say it doesn't work. I was saying it's not true abs. It basically pumps the brakes (on most models) for true abs you would need wheel speed sensors and a bunch of stuff. By the time you were done you would have a full on rc stability system though

Quite to the contrary I am an old retired guy who stays busy trying his best to put together & maintain a few really nice RC’s. My latest project has been a beautiful X01 that certainly shouldn’t be called TRAXXAS anymore. Believe me, I am not bragging...I am just trying to build a “great” car. I’ve got a lot of power, but I am not happy with how I get it to the motor. I’ve got 8 mm wires & connectors hooked up to a 6.5 mm Castle harness. AND every time I hook up the batteries I get a hell of a spark. I am looking at the anti shock connectors. IDEALLY I would love to have an 8mm harness made with the anti shock connectors with jumpers for my (2) 4S GENS ACE BASHER 1100 mah batteries with IC5 connectors. Honestly, I don’t know if I am heading in the right direction. HOW do you get all that power to your motors??? I would appreciate any advise you could give me. Stay well...JOE M.

I was wondering : 1) if you know what brand pinion I can buy in 32p for a 5mm shaft that has a 10mm shank/base. Everything I've bought goes up to 12mm from 18tooth and up. I'm looking for a 20-24 tooth. Short shank would possibly work as well. Figured I'd ask someone that has some experience.
It seems to me that you should get DJI digital FPV system for those cars or at least some rapidfire analog goggles. For those speeds estimating the direction of the car standing by the road is just not accurate enough.
@@InnovationRC correct me if im wrong the esc doesn't pump 400a into its just what it can handle, the motor draws the amps through the esc as the esc distributes it? the motor is rated a 220 max amps so wouldn't draw more than that? im running a motor rated at 180a on a 200a esc so assume the max load in the system will be 180a . either way its a cool setup also i always presumed voltage would provide the hp rating and the amps are the deliver method =torque. you should get the white board out and do a video on this!
Its my understanding amps/current/load are responsible for the torque curve the voltage/power is responsible for the hp. max hp is 17hp@50k so won't be drawing 400A at 50k? 400A draw would be low down the rev range where the truck is under more load? I'm just thinking about my own setup ive been considering the tp56 1450kv and 400a esc for my 1/8 off road speed run truck currently running 890kv kv on a max5 but I'm struggling to gear it up enough i don't draw any load so esc sits a 10c above ambient temp where the motor is revving its balls out and getting hot. Im thinking that i could run the tp56 on the max 5 as the weight of my truck is low compared to a 1/5 so amp draw would be lower?

How do you get your horsepower figures? 20 and 30hp? Do you have a dyno? I find them hard to believe is all.
