He's actually a fugitive with deep hatred for the actual space authoroties (called the IPC) because they destroyed his home planet. The guy's biggest ops are the authorities xD You were VERY on point with the other characters tho. (Your favorite, the one that looks like a peacoc and seem to work at the casino is actually part of the IPC so yes, you saying you get bad vibes from him checks out with the dubious nature of the authorities) Would love to see your opinion on more characters :D

Because it is space, all official laws depend on the planet but Credits are like the official intergalactic currency that's created by the IPC. The IPC's main interest is in technology and the profits that come with it. Everyone can understand each other between different languages because of technology commercialized by the IPC that's a universal translator.

As someone who plays Star Rail and Genshin i really enjoyed your video! Btw the blond guy you liked is called Aventurine and no he doesn't work in a casino but he's gameplay is very casino like, he also loves making bets. If you would like l recommend checking another one of the companies games, it's Honkai Impact 3rd (my personal baby). There are a lot of characters and unlike Genshin and Star Rail there are a LOT of outifts so you can check out just their base designs! There are also different variations of the same character so maybe just checking out the "main" characters( Kiana Kaslana, Mei Raiden, Bronya Zaychik,Fu Hua) if it's too much. P.S. I can't wait for the next Twisted video, things are about to get lovely!

Her name is Lynx Landau. She and her older siblings have cat themed names. Gepard (Leopard) older brother . Serval older sister. She's an explorer with survival experience and equipment. That's why she has healing techniques.
Just to add some backstory to the two mans you like (Boothill the cowboy and Aventurine the gambler boy) Boothill (Is not his real name) was a orphan who raised in a family of farmers with his 5 or 6 brothers (I don't remember very well) but one day his planet got arrived for the IPC (Interastral Peace Corporation, a company who supposed to "preserve" the life for all cosmos) and lost all his family, included a little girl who he's take her like his own daughter. He become a cyborg just to get revenge of those who make him lost his family, leaving her old name because "that man died" and then he would be known for the name of Boothill, member of the Galaxy Rangers Aventurine (His real name is Kakavasha) born in a hard time for his planet, being named by his mother like a "blessing child" due to his special luck, he is at least the last survivor of his kind, he became a slave and survive thanks to his risky bets and also by his insane luck, one woman named Jade take care of him and later would become one of the Ten Stonehearts (A special place of the IPC strategic investment department) giving him the codename "Aventurine" He is only living for the gamble because that was his way of life, so he always would take the risk no matter him if lost all, and yes, he likes to play in the casino. We can say too that he is not evil, but i don't dare to say that he is good so i say that at least Aventurine is neutral. So that was the backstory for both, sorry if some parts i don't explain or i don't express very well. English is not my nature language. I'm gonna wait if i see you reacting trailers of the characters, the myriad cellestias or even the animated shorts, it would be interesting to watch you react about the lore of the game

Boothill had two adoptive dads! And a bunch of adopted siblings. Both Boothill and Aventurine also really hate a guy named Oswaldo Schneider (from the IPC Marketing Department) because that man was the one responsible for the destruction of both their worlds. Oswaldo bombed Boothill's world to get access to its resources which resulted in the death of the man's entire family, while for Aventurine's world, he brokered the Sigonian Sovereignty deal that left out Aventurine's tribe (the Avgins) and another tribe (the Katicans, a more warmongering tribe). He then stood back and did nothing when the Katicans attack the Avgins and wiped them out (poor Aventurine's sister believed the IPC would save them, but nah, they left them to die).

Adventurine isn't evil, per se. His whole gambling motif comes from his suicidal nature. He wants to reunite with the rest of his tribe, who were killed by the people he now works for, but his supernatural luck keeps him from dying. He's also one of the higherups in his department, as evidenced by his gemstone title (his actual name is Kakavasha).
you clocked black swan (pretty purple lingerie lady) absolutely perfectly! she’s a fortune teller with a really strong tarot card motif and the proud owner of my favorite ultimate in the entire game (she brings a card to her lips and kisses it, then throws it at the enemy, and a bunch of crystal hands sprout from the ground and grab that enemy)
Adventurine is one of the best characters in the game, and the only character I've ever gotten the light cone for (basically like a signature weapon in genshin) His lore is heartbreaking
the way you nailed Sampo as a scam artist straight away is so jaw-dropping like I had a whole story quest, his voice actor AND his voicelines and i STILL CHOSE TO TRUST HIM-

The guy who you said looks like he owns a casino is Aventurine he basically works for the strategic investment department of the IPC which governs most of the universe of hsr. He is the sole survivor of his clan/race. you meet him in penacony trying to reintegrate the planet into the IPC's shares and control. He is more of a morally gray character who will gamble to survive and to do that he shows his superiors the results of his gamble which he always wins.
Fun fact about the first character you looked at, being Boothill. His hair is naturally black and white and his teeth are naturally sharp, (like a shark)✨✨ (I am speakin’ as a Boothill main) 😎

I ACTUALLY LOVE AVENTURINE. HE'S THE GUY WITH ALL THE GAMBLING REFRENCES BECAUSE HIS WHOLE LIFE IS A GAMBLE. HIS WHOLE THING IS LUCK AND HOW HE'S NEVER LOST AND THINGS HAVE ALWAYS GONE HIS WAY EVEN IF HE WANTS TO LOSE. ~Spoilers for those who care~ He's from a ruined world that died off(I think. It's referenced at wastelands) and so he was enslaved and sold off to I think several different people. He ended up killing one of his owners and joining the IPC(Interasteral Peace Corporation a.k.a. Galacitic IRS) and becoming one of the higher ups. There's more to his backstory. Like, his whole family is dead and he's the only sigonian(the race of people he's from) left. He also constantly lies to himself to make his lies more believable. You meet him on the Planet of festivities(Penacony: Pronounced Pen-a-cone-E) where he is trying to 'destroy' the dream world because you can go to different dreamscapes and stuff like that. He's so amazing and I love him so much and he's a really good shield if you build him right. He starts out as a bad guy, but I think he joins your side. He's not evil, but he's not that good either(and for good reason). I'm actually horrible at explaining everything so if people could correct me, please do so. I'll only refute if I'm absolutely confident what you're saying is untrue.

Haha, as a HSR player, I love that Boothill was first!! I swear, all of the people (especially women) that I know that don't play HSR but have seen anything about the game are so drawn to him in particular. And I can see why, his design is great. His personality just makes him even better, think Arataki Itto from Genshin except he's a cowboy and also swears constantly. But he is actually a very deep and tragic character. Also, I absolutely love Aventurine (the antagonistic gambler, which you picked up on) as well. He's one of my favorite characters in the entire game, his story arc is amazing. I will say that he has a very tragic back story, he is the only surviving member of his race that got wiped out in a genocide, and he has amazing luck, which is why he is so good at gambling. He is also just a very strategic person and knows when to take calculated risks, but sometimes they come at a cost. You have good taste
When you mispoke and said that Aventurine "is a casino" you honestly basically nailed it. If a casino was a person, that person would be Aventurine. He's basically a C-suite executive for the Space Government Corporation, and his whole deal is that he just leaves business dealings to blind luck and wins every time.

The game jukes us several times with him - "he's evil" and "he's not evil" whiplash that finally ends on "morally grey but friendly to us." He is, actually, called peacock-esque by one of the other characters in the game. He's a big shot in the interastral government, his job being one of "strategic investment" and "curation of assets" (which can mean whole planets). He is extremely rich, but very generous because (deeper spoilers) He is the sole survivor of the gnocde of his people, was sold into slvry afterwards, unalived his "master", and climbed his way to the top using his "luck" blessing, betting his life with every single gamble. Outwardly, he has a lot of bravado and charm - inwardly, he is very depressed, nihilistic, and somewhat (trigger warning) scdal. He literally gives his money away all the time, and just for the heck of it, he gave us, the MC, so much friggin money just because. He's also really sweet and loves giving gifts, so he's not completely dead inside - he just has a LOT of trauma. And thaaaaat's Aventurine! We love Aventurine

I play Genshin too, but I watched the entire quest on UA-cam for Aventurine… He kinda feels like HSR Kaveh, lol. But at the same time, everyone is Kaveh to me... Anyhow, he starts off crazy gambler villain, and then we get slapped with emotional backstory. His race/people (Avgins) is persecuted, his parents die, he has to leave his sister behind, is the only survivor, and becomes a slave.
If Boothill have human skin instead of robot metal parts. Will the reaction be like "Sir where am I suppose to look at respectfully"?😅 The holes on the side of pants and crop top barely cover his chest.

Aventurine is a gambler he’s known for his incredible luck. He works in the IPC(I don’t know what position it pretty high tho) and is one of the ten stonehearts. He’s a very interesting character and even his play style is gambling in the game. He genuinely a interesting guy once you get to know his back story; which is heartbreaking.
Naw the guesses we're super accurate I guess that just shows the outfits truly capture the character, which makes them good designs I would absolutely give a full explanation of the characters and their roles in game, in order, if I had the time and energy 😂 Maybe I'll come back to do just that, unless someone else already has, so you don't only get the hints in comments

Just to add some backstory to the two mans you like (Boothill the cowboy and Aventurine the gambler boy)
Boothill (Is not his real name) was a orphan who raised in a family of farmers with his 5 or 6 brothers (I don't remember very well) but one day his planet got arrived for the IPC (Interastral Peace Corporation, a company who supposed to "preserve" the life for all cosmos) and lost all his family, included a little girl who he's take her like his own daughter. He become a cyborg just to get revenge of those who make him lost his family, leaving her old name because "that man died" and then he would be known for the name of Boothill, member of the Galaxy Rangers
Aventurine (His real name is Kakavasha) born in a hard time for his planet, being named by his mother like a "blessing child" due to his special luck, he is at least the last survivor of his kind, he became a slave and survive thanks to his risky bets and also by his insane luck, one woman named Jade take care of him and later would become one of the Ten Stonehearts (A special place of the IPC strategic investment department) giving him the codename "Aventurine"
He is only living for the gamble because that was his way of life, so he always would take the risk no matter him if lost all, and yes, he likes to play in the casino. We can say too that he is not evil, but i don't dare to say that he is good so i say that at least Aventurine is neutral.
So that was the backstory for both, sorry if some parts i don't explain or i don't express very well. English is not my nature language.
I'm gonna wait if i see you reacting trailers of the characters, the myriad cellestias or even the animated shorts, it would be interesting to watch you react about the lore of the game

Boothill had two adoptive dads! And a bunch of adopted siblings.
Both Boothill and Aventurine also really hate a guy named Oswaldo Schneider (from the IPC Marketing Department) because that man was the one responsible for the destruction of both their worlds. Oswaldo bombed Boothill's world to get access to its resources which resulted in the death of the man's entire family, while for Aventurine's world, he brokered the Sigonian Sovereignty deal that left out Aventurine's tribe (the Avgins) and another tribe (the Katicans, a more warmongering tribe). He then stood back and did nothing when the Katicans attack the Avgins and wiped them out (poor Aventurine's sister believed the IPC would save them, but nah, they left them to die).
@@fleur_and_flower I don't think anywhere it specifies the gender of any of Boothills parental figures. For all we know it could be 2 adoptive mums. I'm just saying this because I did read his lore and don't recall seeing the gender specified. ofc correct me if i'm wrong if it is specified anywhere, I would love to know as Boothill is one of my faves.

Adventurine isn't evil, per se. His whole gambling motif comes from his suicidal nature. He wants to reunite with the rest of his tribe, who were killed by the people he now works for, but his supernatural luck keeps him from dying. He's also one of the higherups in his department, as evidenced by his gemstone title (his actual name is Kakavasha).

you clocked black swan (pretty purple lingerie lady) absolutely perfectly! she’s a fortune teller with a really strong tarot card motif and the proud owner of my favorite ultimate in the entire game (she brings a card to her lips and kisses it, then throws it at the enemy, and a bunch of crystal hands sprout from the ground and grab that enemy)
Adventurine is one of the best characters in the game, and the only character I've ever gotten the light cone for (basically like a signature weapon in genshin)
His lore is heartbreaking
the way you nailed Sampo as a scam artist straight away is so jaw-dropping like I had a whole story quest, his voice actor AND his voicelines and i STILL CHOSE TO TRUST HIM-

The guy who you said looks like he owns a casino is Aventurine he basically works for the strategic investment department of the IPC which governs most of the universe of hsr. He is the sole survivor of his clan/race. you meet him in penacony trying to reintegrate the planet into the IPC's shares and control. He is more of a morally gray character who will gamble to survive and to do that he shows his superiors the results of his gamble which he always wins.

I ACTUALLY LOVE AVENTURINE. HE'S THE GUY WITH ALL THE GAMBLING REFRENCES BECAUSE HIS WHOLE LIFE IS A GAMBLE. HIS WHOLE THING IS LUCK AND HOW HE'S NEVER LOST AND THINGS HAVE ALWAYS GONE HIS WAY EVEN IF HE WANTS TO LOSE.
~Spoilers for those who care~
He's from a ruined world that died off(I think. It's referenced at wastelands) and so he was enslaved and sold off to I think several different people. He ended up killing one of his owners and joining the IPC(Interasteral Peace Corporation a.k.a. Galacitic IRS) and becoming one of the higher ups. There's more to his backstory. Like, his whole family is dead and he's the only sigonian(the race of people he's from) left. He also constantly lies to himself to make his lies more believable. You meet him on the Planet of festivities(Penacony: Pronounced Pen-a-cone-E) where he is trying to 'destroy' the dream world because you can go to different dreamscapes and stuff like that. He's so amazing and I love him so much and he's a really good shield if you build him right. He starts out as a bad guy, but I think he joins your side. He's not evil, but he's not that good either(and for good reason). I'm actually horrible at explaining everything so if people could correct me, please do so. I'll only refute if I'm absolutely confident what you're saying is untrue.

Haha, as a HSR player, I love that Boothill was first!! I swear, all of the people (especially women) that I know that don't play HSR but have seen anything about the game are so drawn to him in particular. And I can see why, his design is great. His personality just makes him even better, think Arataki Itto from Genshin except he's a cowboy and also swears constantly. But he is actually a very deep and tragic character.
Also, I absolutely love Aventurine (the antagonistic gambler, which you picked up on) as well. He's one of my favorite characters in the entire game, his story arc is amazing. I will say that he has a very tragic back story, he is the only surviving member of his race that got wiped out in a genocide, and he has amazing luck, which is why he is so good at gambling. He is also just a very strategic person and knows when to take calculated risks, but sometimes they come at a cost. You have good taste

When you mispoke and said that Aventurine "is a casino" you honestly basically nailed it. If a casino was a person, that person would be Aventurine.
He's basically a C-suite executive for the Space Government Corporation, and his whole deal is that he just leaves business dealings to blind luck and wins every time.
11:00 That man is called Aventurine. It's not his real name, but it's the name he goes by. He is known as a "Gambler" and his entire thing is that his luck is a blessing from a goddess. He wins every single bet he makes, and (spoiler)
He always bets his life. He's got an extremely tragic backstory. The game jukes us several times with him - "he's evil" and "he's not evil" whiplash that finally ends on "morally grey but friendly to us." He is, actually, called peacock-esque by one of the other characters in the game. He's a big shot in the interastral government, his job being one of "strategic investment" and "curation of assets" (which can mean whole planets). He is extremely rich, but very generous because (deeper spoilers)
He is the sole survivor of the gnocde of his people, was sold into slvry afterwards, unalived his "master", and climbed his way to the top using his "luck" blessing, betting his life with every single gamble. Outwardly, he has a lot of bravado and charm - inwardly, he is very depressed, nihilistic, and somewhat (trigger warning) scdal. He literally gives his money away all the time, and just for the heck of it, he gave us, the MC, so much friggin money just because. He's also really sweet and loves giving gifts, so he's not completely dead inside - he just has a LOT of trauma. And thaaaaat's Aventurine! We love Aventurine

I play Genshin too, but I watched the entire quest on UA-cam for Aventurine… He kinda feels like HSR Kaveh, lol. But at the same time, everyone is Kaveh to me...
Anyhow, he starts off crazy gambler villain, and then we get slapped with emotional backstory. His race/people (Avgins) is persecuted, his parents die, he has to leave his sister behind, is the only survivor, and becomes a slave.

He’s a very interesting character and even his play style is gambling in the game.
He genuinely a interesting guy once you get to know his back story; which is heartbreaking.

Wow, you identified the motifs and general traits pretty much immediately for these characters, just from a drip check. I'm very impressed! The only thing you missed is the last girl, she's meant to be a cat rather than a dog (her name is Lynx), but everything else was spot-on.
