I first heard of Constanta from Panait Istrati's books. Always wanted to visit.
The mosque, the seaside, the open air museum (reading a translation of Roman tombstones was one of the most interesting thing I have done in my life) were all very impressive. People were very friendly to us, and this was a very nice surprise considering our history, I was worried Romanians will be more hostile to us.
Otherwise I found Constanta very calm and not busy at all. 100% would visit again and recommend.
Actually all Romania is so underrated.

It is an impressive building and probably the only mosque in the world that was built by a Christian ruler.
