      NOW pipikn should make a video on his owners and shame them. he should write the following points:
      1. we are bad owners
      2. we snatch food from our rabbit's mouth and torture him
      3. we lock him in a cage and trouble him
      4. we make videos of rabbit poop just for the sake of money
      5. we starve our rabbit, prior to making a rabbit eating ASMR video
      6. we have adopted this rabbit only for monetary reasons and are using him to make money on youtube

    When I worked at a daycare, the rabbit chose a corner of the teacher's restroom , so we put his litter box there. One day when he was roaming, I saw him sitting next to the closed restroom door. I tried telling myself that there was no way he was waiting his turn, but as soon as the teacher exited, he hopped in to use the box.

    I would like to point out that the eating poop thing is NOT bad behavior.
    It is actually a NECESSITY in their diet and something few new owners are warned about. Gross yes, but necessary.

    • @101Swiftflick
      @101Swiftflick 10 років тому +28

      Just like Guinea pig owners need to give Guinea pigs extra Vitamin C in their diet, but few people new to the animals are aware of that.

      How can eating poo be necessary? How is that good for him?

    • @AngelaReyeroMartinez
      @AngelaReyeroMartinez 10 років тому +118

      Eric Scott the bunnies are not able to digest correctly, so they have to eat their poo to digest twice, and correctly, some nutrients.

    • @101Swiftflick
      @101Swiftflick 10 років тому +45

      Eric Scott It's of like cud with a cow, sheep, or other animal that makes it.
      With cud the animal regurgitates partly digested food and then re-digests it to get all the nutrients from that food.
      Rabbits cannot regurgitate their food so they have to send it through for a second round to get the full benefit.
      It's built into their body's natural processes, so even if you were to somehow supply a rabbit with these vitamins/nutrients as a supplement, their instincts would still say "You need this!"

    Bunnies are nocturnal, which is why they don't sleep through the night, and are pretty lazy during the day; in fact, they are most active at dawn and dusk. One bunny I had would go ballistic it her cage at sunrise, thrashing about, running around in circles, hopping from one corner to another, feeling her oats, shadow boxing, tap dancing, playing the drums...

    • @bunnymad5049
      @bunnymad5049 10 років тому +10

      I thought they were nocturnal but noted our bun slept a lot at night. I recently found out they are actually "crepuscular" - which is that they are mostly active in the dawn and dusk periods. Not meaning to correct you - I was just so interested to find out and thought I would share. =)

      The real tragedy is that the explosion takes time and is usually camera shy. The mess afterwards is just horrifying.
      Plus, if other things die as a result of the exploding mob, it chains. You'll end up with exploding mobs all over the country. IT'LL SPREAD LIKE WILDFIRE.

    rabbits are supposed to eat their own poop, the latter are called cecotropes and that's what rabbits eat, there are nutrients in the cecotropes.

    Our bunnies are very much part of the family and sit and beg for food even though they have been fed stares at the fridge helps themselves to fruit from the fruit bowl jumps on the sofa when they feel like it play games throw toys especially loud rattly ones and chase you round the house and welcome you when you come home 🐇🐰🐇🐰😀

      +ElephantsRock943 no this is bullshit. a human can never be like a bunny. do you clean your bunny with your tounge several times a day? do you lay down next him every hour just to give him security and he can sleep well? do you speak the bunny language?
      no you can never be as good as another bunny.
      this is just egoistic thougts of humans. even if it dont look like this the bunny will never be as happy without another bunny!

    • @littlemisstoasty8679
      @littlemisstoasty8679 8 років тому +30

      +Nika Hase Bunnies CAN live alone. Sometimes they don't even get along with other bunnies. This one is really happy and energetic, so it seems to be doing fine. As long as it's taken care of properly, and since it has free range of the house so it can run around, it is fine. The throwing on the bed part is the thing I'm kind of iffy about.

    Holy crap, did your rabbit get a mad-scientist brain transplant-job from a ferret? Cos this is how my ferrets act (minus the coprophagia) with robbing the fridge and taking anything within their eyesight range as 'theirs' and kissing/biting their humans.
    Every other rabbit i've seen does nothing but sit, eat, shit, thump and run from people, piss, piss, shit, eat, piss some more and sleep. You are one lucky rabbit owner!

      yea my bunny is a menace she bullies my cat who is like 3x bigger than she is (she is a dwarf), I have to break them up because she scares my cat and chases her all over the house. So I play fight with her now like you would a kitten or puppy except she doesn't use claws on me.

    when my 25lb rabbit named Oreo was still alive, he used love sleeping in my bed every single night stealing the pillows and chewing on my ears whenever I started to snore.The only time Oreo spent any time in his cage was to eat his meals (I didn't want to take the chance of the other animals disturbing Oreo's meal time), or if I had to run an errand and I didn't trust Oreo not to get into something.

    When my first rabbit was getting used to our home (in 2003) her cage was in my room, and at night she would toss everything, and I mean everything in her cage, waking me up. Being 12, and not sure what else to do, I did what my parents would do if I was causing mischief with my belongings: take them away. I spent several nights taking her hideaway house out of the cage if she trashed it, and if she didn’t I gave her extra pets. By the end of the week she learned to not wake up Mama at night. Although as she and I became more acquainted I basically just let her run around whenever I was in my room, even if I was not paying attention to her, so I think it made her less restless at night. (I did have to keep her in the cage at night.)
