Very delicate and free. The layers of colour build up more and more depth. I like to keep it simple in my channel too. I find pleasure in making something believable and hoping that someone might be inspired to to pick up a brush and give it go. Although you can see the years of experience in this such a pleasure to watch.
Not 100% but pretty sure, so.from the top, titan white, lemon yellow, mid yellow, ultramarine blue, phalo green ( I think), sap green or emerald green, raw umber, either burnt sienna or burnt umber but could be raw.sienna, I can't tell always lol, and last one is yellow ochre. Hope this helps!! ✌️🫡
Help teach us, please. It absolutely beautiful !!! What colors and size brushes? My granddaughter and I are painting to you tube and would love to do this.
i find this difficult because there is no mention of which colors are used for the trunk and limbs. Also no mention of what kind of brushes. Hard for a beginner.
I skipped the trunk as I'm looking for tips on leaves. The leaf brushes look like a firm #2 bright (you could use a flat, brights just increase control), and for the little spriggies (which is a great tip) a detail brush, aka 0/10 round. I dont know for sure what she used for her trunk, but, depending on lighting and type of tree, I generally use burnt umber or van dyke brown for the shadow side, raw sienna for the middle to the lighter side, and the Naples yellow, sometimes tinted with a little white, for the sunlight edge and loose brush strokes throughout the middle ro show highlights and bark rexture. If it's a young tree, you can throw some sap green in there with your browns. On brushes, IMHO, the firmness or softness of the bristles is much more important than brush size or shape, as that dramatically impacts how the paint goes onto the canvas. With good brush control you can do almost anything with a good #4 or #6 flat. For oils I prefer rigid hog brights. For acrylic, soft synthetic flats.
How do I ensure I get a solid line, much of the time the tree trunk branches seem to loose paint and the paper shows through, I don't see that happening to you
Beautiful 😍 Could you show us each brush you use before painting please? I’m new to painting and that would help soo much 💛 thank you
Very simple and easy to follow! Good technique!
I like yours techniques for mixing colors I have to learn to do that. Thanks a lot to show that.😊
I was Zen with the canvas...and then you stopped! Love trees! Thankyou x

I love it “ A simple tree”. Come on!! Looks fantastic!!
it s look a real tree i like it tooo much
I agree. That’s not teaching someone to paint without letting them know what the different colors are!😢

I AGREE!!! I don’t have a huge problem with the brushes as I do with the colors! I wonder why after soooo many people have asked he doesn’t respond!
I agree
It really isn't that hard this drawing saved me in my art exam
