    Thank you Tony...I'm going to try it now. All this just to change a head lamp.. why does Alfa have to make everything so complicated...on most other cars it's so easy. In 5 minutes flat you've changed the headlamp bulb..

      Most car brands are doing it already. Car constructions are overcomplicated because they want you to send your car to Authorized Service Station to charge you huge amount of money for something even so pretty as lightbulb replacement.

    Hi Tony, great videos, by the way. I changed my bulbs for Phillips Racing Vison (up to 200% brighter was the claim). I also cleaned off the uv yellowing until the unit looked like new. • @vialettotony
      @vialettotony  3 роки тому +2

      Hi diesel d. Anything light related in the boot lid is potentially related to the infamous wiring loom issue. You could see if you could connect it to 12volts to see if its the strip or the feed to it. I would hazard a guess that the light is okay and its actually the wiring. Have a look on my channel for the "Boot Wiring" video. It shows the right hand loom, but the left hand is very similar.

    Which engine version you reccomend for typical city driving? I mean short distances. I'm affraid of expensive failure Multiair module in some petrol version (1.4 170CV) and problems with dpf filter in diesel engines. But in my country there is a "way" for fixing dpf filter... ;) So what you think about engine choice while buying used Giulietta?

    • @vialettotony
      @vialettotony  3 роки тому +1

      I run a 2.0 JTDm 170 and use this mainly on local runs including around town. Very easy for low speed control on the clutch because of the strong tick over, and also good for fuel economy still. If you want the fun when you get out of town, this helps with that too. All the normal problems like boot wiring and fuel caps are common across all engines.

      Without removing any screw of the bumper, can I align the headlight with just the 2 screws on top?
