Wow! I'm absolutely blown away! I didn't expect that? Beringer gear has come on leaps and bounds. This is perfect for a pro touring rig like mine. I need 4 units.2 to control 4 wedges, 1 to control the side fills and 1 to control the front of house. Talk about a simple feature packed rig. Anti feedback, spectrum analyzer. Sub bass crossover and output. Wow, this is feature packed. Too good to be true and at that price!
Most definitely. Behringer's made great strides in the past decade to build some very good economical pro-level gear. It's hard to justify spending top dollar when you have this kind of value available now. Thanks for watching and sharing your experience. 👍🏿
I purchased the FBQ3102 last year and have been very happy with it. Now I am wondering if there is any noticeable difference between the FBQ3102 and the FBQ3102HD. I use mine primarily when playing vinyl LP's, so I am curious if it would be a worthwhile upgrade.....
If you want to use Behringer FBQ3102HD or 6200HD subwoofer output, make sure that you only need one subwoofer and it's possition is in the same horizontal plane with the main speakers. If you have to position the subwoofer further in front of the main speakers, then you will need a delay controller for the subwoofer, which can't be found on either Behringer FBQ3102HD or 6200HD units. Keep in mind that when you mix music and your arrangement has bass guitars panned to either left or right, for example, the fundamentals can go as low as 31 Hz, and, in this case, it is advisable to use two subwoofers, one for the left and one for the right channel. So the subwoofer output on Behringer FBQ3102HD is pretty much useless for professional mixing. It is better to send the eq stereo output to a dedicated active crossover, which splits the signal in stereo high and stereo low frequencies, using steeper and effective filter slopes, or use good full range monitors. Also don't put too much trust on FBQ6200HD level meters accuracy, because, from my experience, it will underread the signal level by about 6 dB. You can check this issue by connecting it to a DJ or PA mixer, set the master output level to 0 dB, and the FBQ6200HD level meters will display -6 dB. This is very important for preserving the audio signal level close to nominal throughout the entire gain-stage.
Hi, the sub crossover on the rear i inderstand It set the frequency for sub out. I'd like to know of the frequency selected by crossover are revomed from main 2 output.
I believe this is applied to both outputs. However, please confirm with Behringer customer service. Thanks so much for watching. Thank you for watching and sharing. 👍🏿
The secret of this eq I found it you dont need a bbe maximizer an you dont ofto buy a crossover I like this eq this eq is my best friend it never let me down
I haven't testet that, but I believe it does. I don't see anything to the contrary in this regard. For a more definitive answer, I suggest contating Behringer support or some one else may chime in on the matter. Thanks for watching.
I really enjoyed the explanations. I've recently purchased both the Unltragraph Pro 3102HD and the Ultragraph Pro 6200HD, what I Find interesting is that when activating the FBQ switch neither unit LED's light up for a particular frequency when feed back is present and therefore allowing me remove that particular frequency. Any ideas as to why this might be?
If I'm understanding your question as intended, if there is no feedback, the LED will not light up. So it sounds as if there is no feedback for that specific frequency, which is not unusual. If you can show that there is, then there may be a related defect with both machines. However, that is unlikely. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for your response. So let me clarify, when the FBQ switch is activated when feed back is present the LED's don't light up to indicate which frequency is being affected as to be able to cut it out. And yes the likelihood of two units being faulty would be highly unlikely. I'm trying to understand what might be going on. Thanks.
Just found this. Again, an excellent and clear example of how to use a piece of equipment. How are you hooking this up to your Tascam DP-24. Thanks for your channel.
Hi! So our church has trouble with microphone feedback on stage because we use on stage monitors for our singers, will device help with that? Or is there another device(s) that you could recommend please
Yes it can, especially when using the spectrum analyzer functionality. Also, Using a compressor can help. With it, you can increase the gain prior to feedback. Thanks for watching.
@@PowercoatMusic thank you! The compressor on my mixer makes the singers voices sound duller, does it make a difference to have high quality compressors, if so would you recommend a device for live performances?? Please
@@rudygomez6996 If your singer's voices sound dull, that's an indication that you are using too much compression. Try using less, backing off until the voices come to life and then you're good.
