A breath of fresh air in a time where many game game companies are just doing copy/paste games over and over again. Eg Ubisoft. very much looking forward to this experience in VR.
I would say the fact that you are a tiny creature in a giant clay world adds insane levels of immersion to the game, especially with VR. This seems like a hugely untapped medium. "Tiny creature in a large VR clay world." You could make dozens of cool games based of that.
If there was anyone to make a game based on the book/movie Coraline, it would be MoonHood. 🤩🤞 I love how you are partnered with -Top Secret- ! I’m excited to hear more about this partnership! More behind the scenes videos please! 😍 Congratulations MoonHood. Loving the new name! I’ll see you on Launch Day! 🚀
So then, EVERY single frame of EVERY single stop motion animated clay character gets not just a photo taken, but an ENTIRE 3D SCAN?! Jeez LOUISE, that's one hell of a dedicated team of animators and developers you've got there, @MoonHood! Just, WOW!
Such beautiful art. I’ve always wanted to see cleat sculptures Ina video game capturing the worlds similar to nightmare before Christmas and coraline. You guys are building something truly amazing and inspiratonal

I'm a large fan of Lost in Random, and I'm really happy that you guys continue doing what you're pationatte about, I'm really excited to seeing what you're working on!
I love your approach ! It’s a great way not only to create a unique aesthetic in a video game but one great opportunity to preserve and present this wonderful world for a big audience. I’ll definitely buy it ! Good success!
This looks very promising. Excited to know more about the game itself, especially the game-play. Also, I was wondering what types of tools do you use, or the pipeline that you use to develop the game, the characters, animation! I am curious about the process (from concept art, to scanning, to polishing the models, rigging, and importing in the game engine and so on ..).
Doooope! I made a ceramic figure a while ago to scan and print into a tabletop wargame miniature. Never got to the scanning part though. Still got the sculpture!
It was always going to grab my attention when I see a part Neverhood, part Burtonesque game. But seeing what seems to be a Pottsfield reference, from "Over The Garden Wall" on the one of the devs Tshirts, I know I'm in the right place.
They should collaborate with Sony, they would be one of the most creative studios on PlayStation. This whole team has the DNA of the old PlayStation, they remind me of those days when Puppetter and Journey were risky proposals from Sony in the PS3 era.
I wonder if they partnered with LAIKA... I feel like it would be a good match. That is, at least, my best guess for who it could be! Can't wait for another game similar to Lost in Random.
This Moonhood studio teaser, which popped up in my feed randomly, made me kinda emotional. Cuz recently I've seen so many talented developers having to replace and/or skip "tedious tasks" with AI generated text and images. I'm not gonna point fingers, or claws since I'm a happy dog, but I just went through a big Hollywood IP movie made into game, and discovered that anything drawn: Photos, paintings, letters with children's drawings, and even some notes that tell backstory-it was all AI generated. And it just voids the product of any soul. How can I get immersed if what I'm interacting with is just some AI upchuck based on prompts from presumably stressed workers? As a creative soul, seeing too much of it starts to affect me. Then, yeah, this video pops up from moonhood, and this part ua-cam.com/video/XX4qeqBekzE/v-deo.html hit me hard. Like, I noticed I was tearing up. Which sounds dumb, I'm not a creative writer- I'm a visual artist. But it was wonderful to see real artists doing real passion work, to make a real videogame. And yeah, I have lots to explore now considering this video is a year old. 🐶💖
@@ahappydogwithsunglasses ♥️ thank you so much for the lovely comment. We think a lot of people are longing for the tangible and for crafts and things human-made!
Stumbled across the trailer today... Was so gutted to see PS5... But then Bam its coming to steam :D thank you for your artistry, thank you for your passion and thank you for continuing to make Gaming unique. The effort being put in here screams "cuphead". And may you have as much success as they did. Wishlisted. Can't wait.

It's nice to see more and more studios doing games with real props!

Truly!!
Simply fascinated with the studio and especially with the character and sculpture design!
It’s a dream to work in a company and a team like this!

Props to whoever designed the studio. Looks incredibly cosy and like a really inviting workplace. Almost like a internet café
