Amendment: The most recent patch (15.02) had a stealth nerf to the damage done to the Revenants. This means the information in this video about the L-6 Grade 3 being enough to one-shot kill Revenants is no longer true. G4 should be enough (G5 definitely is).
Great video as always. There is now a dirty great Banshee which is very Aggressive and wakes up all Revenants to your presence. Have you perhaps done a Mission Update video? It would be nice to include farming Tactical Core Chips from the Banshee, not sure if the Banshee gets replaced by the Thargoid supply ship, as I have never succeeded in destroying a Banshee. I'm impressed by how they managed to make a stealth gameplay loop that can be so fun. I wish they let us use the UI on the external camera mode tho, it would make playing with VR way easier. Anyway good video man
About the drones, the only way to kill every single one would be having a second buddy with a ship nearby to engage the scout before it deploys the new drones
yes but how todo it when the rules zbout staying floating in there explained in video beginning will make thargoid send one of their vessels to interdict intruders...?

Completed my 1st AX Reactivation mission tonight. V cool. Thank you for the video. I went with the Cobra in the end as my Ops ship.
Love all your on foot guides, so detailed comprihensible , well collected, and up to date! (also fit to my preferred on foot playstyle) Thanks for making these very useful videos.
The 'pattern' of their searchlights reminds me of the projected light the aliens in the original "War of the Worlds" also displayed. (the one where the alien ships in the movies is nothing like the books, 1953). However, their laser attacks is similar of that of the more modern Tom Cruise "War of the Worlds." Pretty cool.
I did my first AX reactivation mission today, and it worked out well thanks to your tips and info. That Karma L6 tip was right on the money. So thanks!

Gone are the days of the original Acornsoft ELITE on the BBC Micro - I was one of the original Commanders, and there was something to be said for the simplicity of those old 8-Bit games. But this is a great video and I wish to thank you for putting it up.
this seems much much better compared to npc that seeing someone looking at them (not a tourist) or jet pack jumping don t ask any question... this seems a cool thing and it s nice to do good in the galaxy the problem is reaching the location too... so full cool experience

Exceptional video as usual. I just found the background music a bit too loud.
I've been working on audio mastering as previous uploads have been a bit quiet (despite them sounding fine on my machine) and it turns out I've been quite a bit short of UA-cam standard volume overall and so the overall volume of the composition is much better in this video but I achieved that in part by increasing the soundtrack. I'll keep working on it!

What is the advice on recovering bits of destroyed revenant with your SRV as a solitary player? With the scouts dropping in reinforcements as rapidly as they do, and the need to scamper back to your hidden SRV, drive back and collect bits - it seems a bit of a high risk venture to me. 🙂
Use the scarab (the scouts will attack the scorpion) and try to drive the srv very close, so pick a settlement with good cover around it. Kill all revenants on foot with a g4+ L6, wait for the scout to drop 5 more then kill them (there is a slightly longer delay between scout drops after one just dropped). Get into your srv and drive it in and hide it somewhere with cover, like under a bridge or something.
Then it's a matter of kill and scoop as fast as you can.
Easier to just bring a friend though 😂

First time i tried it today and there was a banshee, didnt even know that thing existed. Rekt me instantly
The first step is to find the missions. All of these playthrough videos miss out Step 1. I am looking for these missions but as standard missions. I am going to systems with the major faction in Infrastructure Failure and getting no luck. Am I looking in the wrong place?

@stealthboyelite can you link your Krait Mk2 Build please? I just started getting into AX Scout fighting with Krait. I haven't done the Guardian stuff yet.
It's not really very well tweaked for AX fighting, just basic engineering (grade 5) with some AXMCs slapped on and I don't have it saved to edsy. I am actually putting a bit of a guide based on the ships I like to use though, so I'll add some more interesting builds with that, including some for the Krait :)

@@StealthBoyElite I am thinking of trying a Cobra Mk3 Build - no weapons, but fast with a boost speed of 614 and a couple of heat sinks to try to run through the interdictions, land and be able to have two SRVs in the hold. What do you think?
