The motor that was on here is on my off-road mower now and it is pretty much straight pipe. The racing mower has a opposed twin on it now that is also straight pipe.
@@IngenTechNationalis it ok to do straight pipe for long periods of time? I’m also doing a project with a mower engine and I’ve seen forums saying that straight pipe warps valves and I don’t know who to trust🤷♂️ great engine btw
@@dermotfixter813 You should be fine with a header, just don't run it without the exhaust. If it is like 10 inches or so you should be fine. How long is your header?
@@IngenTechNational well right now I have nothing on, straight out the exhaust port. I was planning on doing the exhaust once eventually works and it runs but I might have to reconsider.
@@dermotfixter813 Well if it is right out of the port then yes you can warp the valves, if will be fine running it for a min on a cold start but when it is hot the outside cold air will rush over that hot valve and cause it to warp. You have to put at least some kind of header on it.
That is awesome! Do you have other videos of how he made it so fast and everything? I’ve got a bunch of old riding mowers laying around and want to have some fun but never really knew what to do. Especially when it comes to changing the hydraulic fluid on a “hydrostatic“ I don’t see a hole anywhere to add or remove fluid… Anyways thanks for the videos, cheers!
Dude! That is the most awesome riding mower I think I’ve ever seen! How did you make the throttle like that? I’ve got a hydrostatic but you still have to hit the “break“ on the inside it looks like a teeny tiny disc brake. Really wish you would have shown where the hydraulic fluid goes, not saying show us your hole! But yeah I can’t find it online I’ve got a troy Bilt super bronco and none of the videos I found sure really how to change the rear end/transmission fluid. Mine is whining bad I know it needs a change may be different viscosity… Thanks for the videos, cheers!
I basically just got a throttle cable, hooked it to the governor arm and used a door hinge and connected it all together! Don't recommend bypassing the governor but do as you please! ua-cam.com/video/_Bf2lW005bs/v-deo.html
This exhaust with no muffler was maybe around 120 decibels or so, just guessing!
Tractor's looking great! Your cat is awesome! I had an orange cat just like him, miss him every day.
That looks like the racing lawn mower from cars and cameras
It pretty much is lol.
Dude that thing hauls ass! Great job! I have the same mower and appreciate what you’ve built!
Yeah I like the sound of it
Keep up the videos man! I'm gonna follow along with my Mower build!!
Yes Sir!
Straight piped was so good though.

I wish I knew more people like you man we would have fun talking about builds we make
Same man!
White letters on the tires would be cool..they make tire markers for that..good show
Good idea!
shit bro that thing is quick!!! lol looks fun!!
This young man just learned a painful lesson about to never touch a Hot Exhaust Pipe/Muffler.
It was only running for like 20 seconds, didn't think it would be that hot that quick but I was wrong.
Take me for a ride the cat said that

Sound good to me
My cat does the same thing
How did make your brakes by using the deck handle
Just cut and rewelded the old linkage together to connect the brakes to the lever like a E brake lol.
Was it hot
Obviously lol
For When your neighbor pisses you off.
How did u hook up the foot gas paddle
Using a door hinge and running the cable right to it with a piece of steel bolted on the side.
How Did You Setup The Foot Throttle?

Put a turbo on it
Only if it had a billet rod and flywheel! 😂
