I like the song but it's not very new. The song is just like the ballads we loved hearing in 2000's Eurovision which is fine that style of music is great but the song just doesn't go anywhere different enough
It is a love song where she declares her love for her fiance and then declares it to the world. It has more of a rock sound than most ballads, and the orchestration of the guitar and violins is different that those ballads of the 2000's.
@@jobrock1079 Look I think the chorus and bridge is great but where the song in my opinion might lag is the verses, the verses are reminiscent of balkan ballads we've heard before. I think as long as the song becomes elevated with staging it has a good chance of qualifying and also most Eurovision listeners aren't avid fans of the show enough to notice whether this song is fresh and new or not, but for personally the song isn't that exciting even though it is perfectly lovely

Hi, Serbian Eurovision fan here, and honestly most people here were pissed that this won. Don't get me wrong, Nevena is an excellent singer and has a beautiful voice, but the song was just not there for me. The musical arrangement is not there for me, the chorus strains her vocals to prove that she is a phenomenal singer, which she is, but it comes of as pretentious and unlikable. It also doesn't help that I had pretty low expectations from Beovizija, and in the end they actually somewhat delivered with the staging and the overall programme, but the songs did not blow me away. All the judges low-key gave this 12 points, except for Bojana Stamenov. I don't think that it was fair, since they're all in-industry people and probably know Nevena privately and consider her a colleague at least, and for some she is probably even a friend. This is the problem when you have a relatively well-known singer competing with people trying to establish themselves. But my BIGGEST problem is that this didn't come in first or second in the televote. Una and Nataša ,, Samo bez straha" actually won the televote, with Dženan Lončarević coming in second. Together with Sashka Janks' song ,, Da li čuješ moj glas", which was my pick to win, any of these would have done a lot better at Eurovision. Honestly I think RTS just wanted someone they had previously worked with to win and send a song they were comfortable with. Nataša and Una ,, Samo bez straha", had better staging and was an anthem for all who feel fear in Serbian society for being who they are and speaking their mind, including LGBTQ+ people. And it actually WON the televote. It was all RIGGA MORRIS. It actually reminded me of the Montenegrin selection, but hey that's just my opinion. I don't want to sound like a conspiratorial nut, but her win sure did shock me.

Not a big fan of this! But i agree last year they were better and for me the best serbian entry of all time.
Last year's song only ended up 19th. It was an awkward song which meshed traditional folk with a more modern sounding part that clashed with it.
