I agree with you that this song is very beautiful and has a good chance to qualify for the final, it's actually ranked rather low in the fandom (30th according to the Eurovision scoreboard app community ranking). I personally have it 17th out of the 41 songs. I like it, but I prefer other songs more...
This may sound odd, but in this part of the process (reacting to each country for the first time) I don’t think about the competition aspect at all. I feel like there is plenty of time for that after hearing all of the songs.💚✌️

It’s Ne~ve~na (N - E - V - E - N - A) Her name is easy to say. All sounds of the letters are the same as you would sound them in english. Serbian language is very simple to write & read...we don’t spell. Every letter have just one sound and never changes. 📖+📝+🗣

This might be more of a 'typical' Eurovision female ballad but it is definitely a very good one. Serbian language is very hypnotizing, her voice hits just right. She's beautiful and emotive, she will connect with the audience easily. Serbia did not disappoint this year! Two things bother me at this stage. The styling: the dress and jewelry seriously throw me off. But that's a minor issue and it's very easy to change, also very subjective maybe the styling works for everybody else but me. The more important are the camera angles which are just bizarre… Repeatedly they transition from one deep dutch angle to another and zoom on her face when she is not lit at all and you can only see a black blob. What is going on?

Serbian contestants for Eurovision always have good songs!
This might be more of a 'typical' Eurovision female ballad but it is definitely a very good one. Serbian language is very hypnotizing, her voice hits just right. She's beautiful and emotive, she will connect with the audience easily. Serbia did not disappoint this year!
Two things bother me at this stage. The styling: the dress and jewelry seriously throw me off. But that's a minor issue and it's very easy to change, also very subjective maybe the styling works for everybody else but me. The more important are the camera angles which are just bizarre… Repeatedly they transition from one deep dutch angle to another and zoom on her face when she is not lit at all and you can only see a black blob. What is going on?
