I was sad when I heard England Dan passed away. He had a beautiful voice, his music will be here forever, and thank you for the research you did on them. R.I.P. England Dan! 😥💔
Thank you for the memories! John and I graduated in the same class. Dan was ahead of me in my brother's class. Their music will never be duplicated. So enjoyed the trip down memory lane! Still keep their playlist on my phone.
Thank you for the research! For me they were a great duo! Nights are for ever without you", and "I'd really love to see you tonight" are timeless! Thanks for the memories!
I was a member of a little acoustic group in the 70s that opened for these guys one time at a concert in San Luis Obispo. We were absolute nobodies, and they were pretty big stars, but they couldn't have been nicer to us.
I'm surprised you had a beer with him, since he was a member of a religion that forbids alcohol.

@@c.a.t.732 I used to work as a sushi chef and waiter in Japanese/Chinese/Asian restaurants for many years here in Maryland and I used to see and serve a lot of secular jews who ate seafood/sushi and other foods that are not considered kosher. jews, like every other race of people, love Chinese/Asian cuisines as well ( see Seinfeld episode - the Chinese restaurant ), and those foods are not kosher either.
The duos songs were all beautiful but my favorited up to now is soldier in the rain thank you for the updates of JFC life ED dead was a long time news in my country🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊❤❤
John Ford Coley also did some acting. He was in the 1989 film Dream a Little Dream with Corey Feldman, Jason Robards, Meredith Salenger, Susan Blakely and Victoria Jackson, among others. Huge fan of ED and JFC! Dowdy Ferry Road is still one of my favorite albums.
The Bahai faith was huge in the 70s, there’s mentions of Bahá’u’lláh and his son Abdu’l-Bahá. Both this duo and Seals and Crofts were heavily in to that stuff. Clearly when they were sourhwest fob, they were very psychedelic. Totally used some substances.
It’s a Todd Rundgren song based on the writing of John in the New Testament: check out 1John 4:7-8. The world would be a better place if all Christians followed these verses and took this song to heart. ♥️

Love Is The Answer has always been one of my all-time favorites!
First record I bought. My grandpa said Don't you want to save that $10 and I said no. But he smiled when I made him listen to it. 😜💞
My favorite duo. They have amazing voices as well as the melody of the songs. Reminds me of my college year's ❣️
College "years" - not year's.

Pleasant Grove remembers and still loves y'all!
I wonder if they considered themselves Grove Rats.
We just saw John Ford Coley with ambrosia two weeks ago .

One of the few "mistakes" A&M Records made. They had them and let them get away
Did you know the A in A&M Records stands for Alpert, as in Herb Alpert?
I’d really like to see you tonight is my favorite song.
Nights Are forever Without You.
Dan seals with one of the best rest in peace
Dang your good ! Thank you

This guy’s narrative is putting me to sleep
That's A. I. for ya.
When you can't make it in pop or R&R you go country think Kenny Rogers
Why the Hell would I want to think about Kenny Rogers for? He sucked at all three! Acting too!
Tina Turner died today :'(
Anna Mae Bullock has passed but Tina Turner will live forever! Cool runnings!
John ford coley was Jewish not Christian.
So
Their number love is the answer was a brilliant number 1979
