NOTE TO EVERYONE: If you pick the highest TRIM ( which in canada there is 3 for XT4) and sport is it. You dont get things like adaptive cruise and lane follwing assist by default. Nope. Its in a different package called DRIVER ASSIST PACKAGE. Yes it pissed me off to find out that. I said to the sales person. I want the highest trim. THINKING that this would be in it by default. NOPE. You can order the highest trim which is sport and still not get all of that without paying for the package. Same for heads up. if you want that you have to buy the technology package. Basically Cadillac has cheaped out. They have said okay you can buy any of our trims but you dont by default get features. They are all in packages that are extras you have to pay for. Not cheap either. So basically they LURE you in with a cheaper price only to drop on you that to get features that are DEFAULT in other brands, you have to pay extra. Before you know it you are over 60,000. Its a SHAM
The Cadillac XT4 has no turbo lag that I can feel. Every other car that I test drove had turbo lag, whether short or long...Mercedes GLC300 (least turbo lag), BMW X3 (a little more turbo lag), Porsch Macan S (even more turbo lag), Honda (way too much turbo lag). My other car is a 2017 Corvette Stingray in stickshift.
At 16:40 you pointed out one of the four or five microphones embedded strategically throughout the headliner of the vehicle. These are microphones for the Active Noise Cancellation system in many of the new GM vehicles. They pick up noises in the cabin so the ANC can cancel them out via the sound system of the vehicle.
I have a 2021 CT5, and had a 2024 XT4 Sport as a dealer loaner. Was impressed, in my opinion the Bose Stereo sounds better than the AKG. I like how they restyled the dash in the XT4 similar to the Escalade and the Lyriq.
@ryancullen7361 yes it did, it's good for someone who wants a small premium SUV. It's FWD vs the CT5 that RWD. The XT4 is definitely cramped in comparison to the CT5. If your looking for more room I would go with the XT6.
Great review! I am really liking what I see with this Cadillac. I've never considered a Cadillac before because I always thought of them as cars for "old people". I will definitely test drive this and seriously consider it. Are the seats comfortable? So many seats are like sitting on a bleacher...... Thanks for the review!💗
Good review and I watched many. Your road test was exactly the way I drive. I love the hard acceleration tests. There are mostly two-lane highways where I live so passing long semi-trucks is my reality. This will be the next vehicle for the wife (and me). The only big issue I have with the Cadillac SUVs is the lousy selection of interior seat colors. If you wear blue jeans, especially new ones, or dark leather coats (I'm in northern Alberta so leather is what keeps me warm) DO NOT get the white or beige interior. The blue and brown dyes rub onto the arm rests and seat bolsters. So that leaves black as the interior color choice. Boring! My plan is to purchase seat covers. That way I can get a variety of colors, even with custom stitching for a bright Caddy logo.
I’ve only ever liked 2 Cadillacs; the ELR and the XT4. The XT4 has some of the styling I loved about the ELR. I wanted the 2023 XT4 but went for an Equinox 2.0T Premier because with every option it was still about $10k less than a Sport XT4 with few options. The turbo Equinox also has a pleasing exhaust note. But this refreshed XT4 looks exceptional and is on my radar.
The little circles on the ceiling in the back are for noise control of the panoramic sunroof, according to my sales rep. Also, the phone holder you said isn't a wireless charger, is a wireless charger, or at least on my model, it is.
We just purchased this same 2024 XT4 Sport. FYI, they removed the side, front view cameras and front parking assist. The older versions of the XT4 had it and we are disappointed the dealer did not point it out. At this price point you should have front parking assist so you don't bump the front plastic assembly. Also, while Cadillac brags about Alexa integration they also left it out of this model. It does have a bunch of torque steer if you punch it and I believe it is as fast as my Dodge Hemi in 0-60. The turbo and transmission is the smoothest I have ever driven.
I am a lifetime japanese car driver, and I feel a little bored. This time, I want to switch to an American brand and this 2024 xt4 is on my list. Hopefully it is as reliable as lexus and wont let me down

did it feel a little cramped compared to the CT5, or not too noticeable? that’s the only hesitation I have

Still has it you have to get the active safety package.
Just got mine❤ didnt like the massage feature because the seat was harder so make sure you test drive which one you actually buy if you do
