I remember my step brother playing this in the morning on a stereo. Then it wakes me up at 8 am. I didn’t even need to smoke anything (was only like 8years old). Heard all the bird chirping. The summer air giving me the chills. I pour myself some kool aid. Then I go outside and play with the water hose!!!
Teenagers nowdays have it awesome. They all have smartphones and the easiest access to free music. I became a teenager in 2005, had a walkman cd player while all the rich kids had the first ipods. Then I upgraded to a Sandisc MP3 player that was able to hold 250 songs and play the local radio stations. My first car was a 1999 volkswagon beetle, no bluetooth or auxillary cord, had a 6 disc cd changer IN THE TRUNK of the car. Didnt even drive it half the time, rode my bike everywhere to stay in shape for wrestling at school and to air out the smell of cheap shitty weed off of me lol. Damn those days were so simple!

Welcome to one of the greatest generations of music. I was about the same age as you guys when these songs were hitting. This kind of music doesn’t feel like it exists anymore. I’m 33 now and I’ll listen to these songs just to take me away. I don’t necessarily search for older songs, I search for old memories. You guys will feel this some day yourself.
