Its funny how a song can take on a whole new meaning the older you get. Yet you keep the nostalgia in your heart from when you where just a little kid rocking out!
Everyone’s talking about how this song brings back memories but not about the fact that this about failing relationship that can’t end cause they’re in too deep.
lmao, i've never heard of this band until i watched an old playthrough of jacksepticeye playing until dawn and he sang this for a little bit. So I searched up one of the lyrics and damn, this does give hella 2000's vibes and the more I payed attention to the lyrics, the more I realized it was about a relationship.
Damn, the feels . Even though i was born in 1999. The fact cheaper by the dozens and american pie introduces me to this song , makes me appreciate this for the rest of my life. Plus, it makes me wanna live and feel what it feels like to live during the early 2000’s. And it’s the year where skateboarding is so very much alive and so hype 🤘🏻 and it makes me wanna go back to skateboarding by just hearing this song
"Enough is enough! You're slacking on your chores, fighting in school! Things are out of control! You are all GROUNDED!!! You go to school, come home from school, do your chores, do your homework, you go to bed! And that's it!" LOL. Cheaper by the Dozen rocks.
I fell in love with this song from Malcolm in the middle, but it reminded me of skating and the shame of never having learned got me to stop listening, its been a few years this is the first time listening, making great strides on the board.
Track describes the struggles of a strained relationship. The lyrics describe how the people in the relationship are constantly at odds, unable to communicate and trying too hard to make it work. The narrator is aware that they are in too deep and trying to stay above it by not going under or giving up.
Some other Rock bands I like: My Chemical Romance. (My fav) Simple Plan. Marmozets. Egypt Central. Skillet. 12 Stones. Fivefold. Three Days Grace. Sum 41. While She Sleeps. Seether. I hope this helps someone :)

I was in high school in the mid and late 80's and that decade is still with me. But the late 90's/early 2000's wss an absolute great time and the bands and their music are why. Everything became fun again and EVERYTIME I hear these songs, especially from AP and AP2, oh man.....I'm with @Mitchell Wagoner. I wish I could relive those years again.
Reese is driving and his family watch him in TV how this is chased by the police cars while They make strange moves with their head, descripting the Reese's moves
Indeed, we're just plain old nostalgic late 80s and 90s kids looking for a taste of our adolescence. We lived it, we don't need modern pop culture to prompt us into listening to great music of years past.
@johnnyrocket92 Honestly, it is quite embarrassing to me how fearful everyone in positions of authority and power are now. It is insanity. How impatient and clueless everyone seems to be. How reliant we all are on technology and grub hub and amazon and shit.
