Agree so much about the foundation. I totally change the way I do foundation for a beauty shoot vs a client makeup. Loads of skincare beforehand to get the skin plump, glowing and looking as good as possible then really sheer foundation with illuminator or just concealer. Also need to put the same skincare, illuminator and foundation all over the skin that is visible, chest, shoulders and hands.

How many pictures do you take during a beauty shoot? How many "sets" and how long are you shooting? I would be very interested in a video on the workflow on a "stabdart" shooting day of you 😊
If you're shooting editorial work you're usually on set for 6-10 hours shooting 6-8 different beauty looks.
Great tips and foundation is very important to do it right and to get good quality product 👍

You're gorgeous and your channel is great. I might recommend you work on your video lighting though. It's a bit hard and very flat too... keep it going. love your channel. might take the exposure and white balance settings off manual and avoid changing the lighting mid tutorial. sorry if that comes off patronising. i'd like to see your channel succeed.

No worries! 😊 Yes I do! I think the best way to try and book jobs through beauty photography, would be to develop a solid portfolio and then pitch to beauty brands. You can start off with smaller beauty brands, and potentially even pitch to collaborate with them first off, (so they can see the quality of your work and how it fits with their brand). It's usually my recommendation with getting into commercial beauty photography 🙂

This is perfect first video that popped up was Lindsay Adler with her 3 profoto light stand set up with c stands I’m like bruh finding someone who has had to start small and build this video is so helpful not sure why it’s not at the top for viewed!
