Being 100% of the time I anchor from the rear with the water pulling me down stream so I can fish the bank I just use a carabiner to hook my rope to my rear carry grip with the anchor hanging and the remaining rope tied off by the zig zag and rope under my seat. Makes it easy to switch use to my other kayak also.
Great video. I have a Yukon Angler kayak as well and plan to install an anchor trolley before spring. Your video will be very helpful. I do recommend you decrease the volume of your background music though. It sometimes overpowers the audio at times. Again, great video.
Do not, repeat, DO NOT use anything other than three way expanding rivets or well nuts (preferred and waterproof) to mount ANYTHING at or close tonthe waterline!!!
Nice clarity on doing the video. If how is the trolley working out for you? If you were to do it again, would you mount the bow and Stern eye pads in the same location or would you mount them above the seam? I have the teton pro and am going to mount a trolley on mine as well
We've not tried the river yet. With all the rain our area has received the water levels have been pretty high, and we haven't wanted to get our kids on them yet. We will post another video when we do!
How long were the screws you use to get all the way through the front I got the yakattack deluxe anchor Trolley system and notice to offset in the front of the kayak and was afraid screw would not penetrate all the way through

Another great video, thank you! Really good editing as well!
Rip'n Lips in Amarillo Texas!
Thank you! My wife is still learning.
In situations like this you can use well nuts. My wife and I both have this kayak. They work great for lake fishing.

I am actually changing my trolley to the yak attack trolley system. I like the location because of keeping the trolley close to the water.
Great video you have any problems with leaks at the pad eyes? Or does the water line fall below that?
Water stays below the pad eyes.
Great video but your background music is too loud and it overpowers your audio at times. My advice is to kill the music all together.
I just bought the same kayak and Love it ! I fish a small lake . Was wondering if you have tried it in a creek our fast moving water yet ? GODs love.

@@tomcollier2406 my husband used a #10 3/4" wood screw
Screws in the hull with no reinforcement 100% WILL pull out. All it'll take is a strong enough wind or current and they'll tear right out.
Thanks for the input. So far we've had no issues.
