The dropped combos for avatar hurt so much, I feel them even in training mode they seem weirdly inconsistent lmao. Love playing both characters and learned some new stuff for vas from this too
it's inconsistent cuz of character weights. Vas just falls out of combos faster cuz he's chunky

Sometimes he'll do more to himself against vaseraga then the enmey
Yeah that's the issue with Avatar Belial, his damage output is amazing and he has some really great tools as well. But the fact he deals such an insane amounts of damage to himself with a low healthpool is what makes him very inconsistent.
If you compare him to his counterpart (Belial) he does have the ability to dish out great damage, has a great counter and doesn't sacrifice health in order to dish out damage.
I feel like in order to fix Avatar Belial they have to either make his health pool bigger or just lower the hp cost from his special moves so his combos aren't as damaging to you.
Avatar Belial is flexing so hard, his combos do more damage to him than the opponent does.
I was rooting for Vaseraga the whole time though, so yay!
