Welcome to this Norwegian Wood Guitar Tutorial by The Beatles!
This is a super fun song to play on the acoustic guitar. The Beatles undoubtedly are the masters of writing memorable acoustic guitar riffs. This song at its core is actually quite simple and is just comprised of 2 song sections - the main riff and the chorus chords. In this video I'll be breaking down the main riff step by step - and once you watch this you'll realise its actually quite simple!

I can play music. I have played the flute since I was 10 (36 years ago) and can play the piano when I can get over how much I hate bass cleft. I learned the piano as an adult. I can read music and know rhythm. I just can't get over how much guitar strings hurt! Both my sons learned the guitar but I can't wait until I build the callus and give up.
After seeing this, I am going to try again, for the fourth time. The first time I was eight and my Dad taught me. He did teach me all the chords and simple songs. Maybe I had tougher fingerpads when I was young.

Thanks for the lesson. In the tab for the riff, the high e string on the d chord is left out on some strums. Also on the second chord some e strings are left out.
