God dam that's good music.just image walking into a club and this being played.buys boys are fabulous. This song and the boys are back in town are two songs that are hard to beat.i think the bus boys should have gotten more attention than they seemed to get.i know I could listen to their music endlessly.
Hell yeah!!! Got here after listening to Vic with the Circle. Had NO idea he was in the Bus Boys. Damn, I LOVE music like this!!! Blues based rock n roll, woo!!!
Man I'm only 25 years old but I could have partied my ass off with these kind of bands.I woke up late this aftenoon to find a note by my bed, Well a woman took everything I own she even stole the grease on my head, I'M GOIN DOWNTOWN I'M GOIN TO BUY ME SOME NEW SHOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw them in '85 too, in La Jolla, CA. Spoke with them and they were friendly and funny. Great show. "This ain't no rap or hip-hop caca!" It's ROCK n ROLL!
You had to hear this song live to really appreciate the groove. Busboys KICKED ASS! I was up front the two times I saw them. Wish they would still play!
Vic, you have to get this one into the Circle set list. Just arrange the keys as another guitar part and you are good to go. Imagine Mikey and Sammy on background vocals - high and low. Sandwich it in between Levee and Best of Both Worlds or Finish What You Started and it's a groove transition dream...
I love the bus boys Saw them many times in LA and OC in the early 80's. This was real rock n roll! James Harmon Band and the naughty sweeties were a couple other bands that were smokin' hot back then.... What a great time the 80's were!
This was a very underrated band. I loved these guys. I think their appearance on Saturday Night Live was better. But thanks for posting this! "American Worker" is a fantastic, rockin' LP(cd now).
this song was ALSO in 48 hrs Busboys ROCK. they were just caught in between ...back then "crossover" was a dirty word..'specialy for a bunch o' brothers who rock...but they should have went out with Heuy Lewis for some more exposure
If you really wanna hear Vic tear it up, check out his band Total Eclipse, they were together in the early 90's, & didn't get the attention they deserved. They only put out one Cd on a crappy label. If you can't find it contact me & I'll send you an MP3.
I worked with him, he was a good friend. He was too young to die, had a heart condition he was born with that made him miss work at times. Miss you, French.
dizz niggas was the real Business !!! the best Rock band White or Black to come round in a long time !,... and Besides STEVE IS A MEXICAN so they are just a kick ass Band !!!,.... period.

You had to hear this song live to really appreciate the groove. Busboys KICKED ASS! I was up front the two times I saw them. Wish they would still play!

I saw these guys in San Clemente, CA in the 80's and they tore the place up! Incredible band and nice guys.

These guys were an influence on Fishbone.
And you were an influence on the Bus Boys. Steve Felix used to tell me about your band all the time.
If you really wanna hear Vic tear it up, check out his band Total Eclipse, they were together in the early 90's, & didn't get the attention they deserved. They only put out one Cd on a crappy label. If you can't find it contact me & I'll send you an MP3.

Did Greg French die? What can you tell me about it? I played in the BusBoys with him and was wondering what happened to him.
Yes, Brian O'neil told me French died of complications from diabetes.
I worked with him, he was a good friend. He was too young to die, had a heart condition he was born with that made him miss work at times. Miss you, French.
