This is the first song I remember listening to and dancing to with my dad. It will always be my favorite. Definitely the best memory in my 19yrs of life.
In my earliest days in the Navy in San Diego, a couple shipmates and I would take the trolley down to Chula Vista every wednesday. There was a small roller rink a few blocks up from the station. We always requested this song when we were there. EVERYONE would hit the floor when it came on. It got so, as soon as we walked in, the DJ would spot us, wait until we had our skates on, stand on the edge of the rink, look at him, boom, down went the needle. Didn't even have to ask. LOL. Everyone knew us. It was awesome.

Early Jenkins , I lived 15 minutes from Bristow, Va and saw many great concerts there. I went to see Bob Seger on May 25, 2019. It was great, asskicking rock and roll. Bob and his band were excellent. It was one of the best concerts I ever heard. I am so thankful he came and I got to see him. I am 67 now and I still love my music! I'm Canadian and I've seen Bob in concerts frequently over the last 20 years , sometimes in Vancouver, sometimes Toronto, Love him. I think I'll always be up dancing to Old Time Rock and Roll 'til I draw my last breath!!!!!!!!

@@agirlhasn0name not really. Today’s music has blown every previous decade last sales out of the water. Nobody in 1960 was selling a billion singles. We have about 15 artists who sell a billion singles every year. Some do multi billion
Not that I care about that as it's wholly irrelevant...seems just about impossible to believe though...on the one hand maybe not since everything gets easily turned into a big global business and junk, but at the same time there'd be no reason for it other than...the technology I guess...whatever.
