Good luck, its great that the project has gotten this far. I think one thing people are trying to work out is when is the end point?. The delivery point on the project?. Lets just take the first goal.. I'm not expecting a firm date.. But an idea how long from the close of the Kickstarter campaign to the release would be helpful. Is it a year?. 2 years?. More?. There needs to be some clarity around that area. I understand fully that a small team can only do so much and funding is required to deliver things.. But I think its become at least a little clearer now how important Hogs being on all platforms (PC, PS, Xbox, Switch) today is to success. In my opinion the ultimate goal should be Hogs cross-play between all platforms.
I've pledged 30 for a copy because I really want to play this, but the PlayStation exclusivity (unless the stretch goal is reached) means I won't actually be able to play it on release. I'm fine with this though! As long as I've done what I can for this project. Hogs is a game I loved as a kid, and a remaster is worth contributing to even if I have to wait to get access
Honestly it is absolutely heartbreaking to see the kickstarter grind to a halt in terms of funding. I adored Hogs of War back on PS1 and it was a staple of my childhood, I cannot stress how ridiculously excited I was seeing that it was coming back as Lardcore. I truly wish I could pledge more or promote even more than I currently have, I just don't know what we're meant to do to help to get the word out there.
it good to see your admitting to mistakes and trying to improve; it seems unlikely the campaign will get funded 2 weeks in we should be at least 40-60%. I may be best to cancel, to rethink the campaign in a number of ways( a cancellation i better than a failed campaign optically). Q4 is also the worst time to launch a campaign as most backers spending on the festive season.
You guys are a great team and I believe in you. I still wish that the game will be released. Will there be a second Kickstarter, in which you will bring in optimizations and experiences from the current one? Can we as a community support you better? Is there anything we can do? I think many will be willing to advertise via social media.
if you guys can commit to giving me a copy of the inevitable pc port when that eventually comes instead of a PlayStation copy I'll back it and wait until it eventually comes. I've waited 20 years to see the game be brought up to speed I can wait a little longer.
I'm a PC player but I still pledged to help the project. Honestly, I'd buy a PS just for this if it means I'll be able to play the game and will just play it again if a PC version is being released one day.

I'll provide a little perspective as a backer. I previously played Hogs on PS1 quite a bit, hundreds of hours probably. The same goes for my dad and brother. So in this scenario we have 3 potential backers. I, nor do my dad or brother, own a PS4/5. I would purchase a PS5 just to play a remastered Hogs. However, I don't think that's something most people who are not current owners would be willing to do. I can confirm that is the case for my dad and brother. However, if I told them it would be a PC release day one, I could get them to back it. Hell, I could probably convince 4 or 5 of my gamer friends who don't own a Playstation, and have never played Hogs, to back it if it was a day 1 PC release. Just a little perspective as someone who is trying to proselytize for the cause, it's currently a very tough sell to the gamers around me. I also know that you can't snap your fingers and pivot from PS to PC just like that. But I hope this gives you a little bit of insight. That being said, love the work you all are doing and hoping for the best. Onward, and cheers! 🐷 🍻
Yeeeaaaahhh… Not only the lack of exposure (I tried spreading the word to my best ability) but the stretch goal prices for certain things the community REALLY wanted to see may have very likely been the killing blow for this Kickstarter. In hindsight it was DOA, which is unfortunate to say and admit… … That, and probably the reason no-one has so far backed the game at the highest backing reward is WAY too expensive. 5,000 quid in my money is nearly 10 grand. That’s just absurd! Still, this won’t stop me from showing my support for this game and community. I will continue working on my little side-projects that I hope to show off some time soon(-ish) all in hopes of promoting Hogs of War. And hopefully when you try this again, it’ll help people to learn about the game and support it!
HAHAHAHA, this seems like such a genuine project, too bad the universe seems to disagree, i have no idea why the algorithm refuses to promote this, i almost regret accidentally stumbling into this project now, knowing that it will fail catastrophically, truly ignorance is bliss.

Best of luck. Lardcore made me consider buying a PS4 more than any other Sony exclusive, lol.
