@8:45 - could you use the seakeeper ride on the back of a yamaha boat with ballast to improve wake surfing (instead of the yamaha wake booster or other 3rd party options)? I saw that the ride has manual mode. If it could help tilt the boat towards the surfing side and bring the nose up at surfing speeds (10-11 MPH) it could be perfect for this. I'd much rather get seakeeper ride than integrated hydraulic surf tabs (Yamaha 222XD) because its functionality outside of surfing is game changing.
Yes I think it will be used for that as well on boats the the future
Best all around boat. Go anywhere, do anything. Wakeboarding and wakesurfing is great!
You forgot to mention how ridiculously expensive this boat is!
They are starting to restrict these surf boats in some lakes and rivers due to the wakes causing property damage from erosion.
Just a correction. The boat style is not what's being restricted. It's the activity. Responsible use of any boat includes knowing how you impact others and minimizing your impact on others. It's called common courtesy in some circles.
@edwardmalle210 you are right. Sorry for mis stating the facts. It's always an irresponsible group of users who wreck it for everyone else. Just like jet ski operators get a bad reputation too. In my state you are responsible for the wake you throw whether navigating in fresh or saltwater.
@@edwardmalle210Ahh I get it - you’re affiliated with the brand.
Ballast will be the thing that they ultimately ban on a lot of lakes.
