Yes Toyota should definitely build it it's annoying how all these manufacturers think that everybody wants jacked up monster trucks to drive through the city a lot of people like lowered Street performance vehicle like the original lightning & GMC's
I really hope that they produce this truck. We need more street trucks. This will help fill that void missing in the industry. If they produce this, I will order one. Hopefully it will come in a metallic black. 😍🤩
The hood and associated graphics are great! The design of the splitter to push more air over the brakes is an excellent idea as is the exhaust design. I’ll be looking for the TRD pro or Trailhunter myself but that streeter is awesome!
With the v6 I would ABSOLUTELY buy this!!!!

I had an '05 X-Runner but sold it after 8 years. Not one single problem and my only complaint would have been that I wish it had a bit more power. Would definitely consider getting another one if they offered it.

I would buy this. My dream car in high school was the X-Runner. I never got one. If they brought this I would prefer this over the Supra. Hell I might trade in my TRD Camry which has been so awesome, but this would be just amazing.
I was in HS when the 2nd gen came out and we were seeing them in the tuner scene thinking they were so hot. I am getting those vibes now.😀
This is a great direction for Toyota to take, nice styling details, great color contrast combo that could be used with most of their existing body color choices. Black is a great contrast / detailing color when used like this, with a bright, popping body color !! We need more new vehicles styled like this !!

I love my xrunner, but what I really love is my 6 speed manual. Wouldn't even consider without a manual transmission. That's what makes it fun!
Agreed! Whats the point of making this automatic. The only reason I'd gwlet this would be to thrash it around town to get my hooligan fix! Lol. And the only way to do that is with a manual.

It’s fantastic. I think Toyota should give the Tacoma the Ford Raptor treatment. TT V6, Tundra Transmission, Tundra rear axle, long travel front end, and wide body kit. It would sell very well.
If it is reasonable prices n not cost 80k to 100k

Love to see a manufacture that is developing a street truck like this. A nice switch from the off-road trucks being sold today. If they build it do not be surprised if the big three jump in on the street truck trend. Love it.

I own a 2006 X-Runner with the same blue color and with only 40k miles. These trucks really retain their value. Love it!
It's amazing that Toyota keeps showing us Concept vehicles in the past few days. Hopefully they will build these vehicles, X-runner with that kind of power will definitely attract the other group of truck enthusiasts who doesn't offroad or trail driving
I almost bought an S runner in the early 2000’s and haven’t stopped wanting one. If Toyota makes this truck, like this with the twin turbo V-6, I definitely have to buy one! Don’t wanna sell my 2015 Tundra 4x4, but this is different enough to have both

Man that looks nice. I had a Speedway blue 2005 Xrunner and really loved that truck. the originals were 6speed only. If this is auto only thats a big pass for me
They did a fantastic job on the styling. Definitely brought back memories from high school seeing this truck. I like the v6 from the tundra they have in there. Hopefully an all electric model in the future. Since the truck wouldn't be used for towing going electric in it as an option would be perfect since it's about speed
I would love to see a sport truck version with all wheel drive, but not as low as the x-runner to keep the utility aspect while upping the horsepower, torque and fun! I have a TRD Sport now, but it lacks in the sportiness category. It needs to still do well in the snow though too, so that is why I requested the AWD, but I would compromise with 4x4 too.
I actually really like this. Could be great for guys who need a truck during the week but want to have fun on the weekend.
I own a 2001 S-Runner (predecessor to the X-Runner) which mainly sits in the garage these days because it's an Xtra Cab. If the new X-Runner came as a 4 door it would definitely be on my short list to buy.
This thing would sell like hot cakes but sadly Toyota will never do it. 😢

I would absolutely buy an XRunner. Contingent upon it keeping the turbo charged V-6. I think it would be a hit.
The body kit is a bit of an overkill, but yes we need another xrunner!

As someone who owns an off-road Tacoma in Houston, where there isn't any place to off-road, id gladly get one on these for the flat Houston streets.

Bring it to us. I and about to turn 59 and I have never owned a Toyota but I would buy the Tacoma X Runner street performance truck especially if they built it with the V6 with 400-425 horsepower.
Everybody is doing the off road/trail trucks but the street performance truck enthusiasts have been neglected and this concept truck would a real welcome but the power and performance will have to be there and be reasonably obtainable.
Sport trucks are needed. tacoma x runner, is it. If it comes, it will be fun and enjoyable. I love it .thanks for getting us back in sports pickup.
I used to be a Toyota certified Tech. I've always loved the Toyota vehicle line. Hated to see the old x runner go and would love to see it return but I feel like it needs to have a v6 option. I would definitely buy

Cool vlog Andre and the X Runner looks insane. I would have to say is that Toyota for 2024 should offer that engine as a option the twin turbo V6 in the Tacoma as a standard option. You know how many tacoma buyers would be all over that over the hybrid. You do have to realize is that not everyone is on the hybrid bandwagon yet but we know that this is the way the future is going but Toyota give us the option for that twin turbo V6 in the Tacoma and watch the sales skyrocket and put the Toyota Tacoma take back the crown back in this truck segment because there is some stiff completion in this truck segment from Nissan Ford Chevrolet and GMC but at the end of the day we all know what quality Toyota puts out. As for the concept truck the X Runner killer I would be putting that into production ASAP because I really think that there still is a market for that type of truck but I just recently ordered a 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro as a gift for my brother who has been there for me in hard times so just out of appreciation he deserves it but man he would love to see that twin turbo V6 in his new truck. So Toyota please make it happen with that engine option and make all Tacoma lovers out there really happy!!!!
This is what the market needs! I was always a huge fan of the el Camino and Subaru brat so this id basically the perfect modern version
V6 or inline 4, sound good....as long as there is at least 350hp. Most important though, must come in manual.....the look of the truck is amazing. I would be proud to drive that truck

I would like to see a body on frame, rear drive based compact pick-up with ICE available in regular, extended and crew cab configurations with a box long enough to actually haul stuff and let the tuners go to town!

I love my Blue 2007 X-Runner. With the TRD SC kit it is so fun to drive. Right at 100k miles on the ODO and my X still stomps on newer 400+hp trucks. Their faces, lol!

So the tundra engine fits in the Tacoma? Engine swaps coming. Toyota please put the engine that is in the Xrunner into the new Tacoma. Then we will have a true Tacoma offroad.
I had a 1988 Toyota Camry years ago that had a red (maroon) interior. I wish Toyota would still use the suede-like material today because it was very luxurious and soft and held up very well
Hasn’t been a legit street truck since the SRT10. Off-road performance is with the TREX and Raptor is really cool, but street trucks, man - chefs kiss. I always wanted to get a TREX and turn it into a street truck.

Hi "Toyota" That Tacoma X-Runner is very cool looking. If you "productionalized" it, it would definitely have a fan base. Also, "Toyota" whom Andre said was reading this, bring the Land Hopper to the USA. As it would definitely have a fan base for that as well. If not more so than the X-Runner.

Hopefully they run a similarly tuned auto to what the newer GR Yaris has. Even though it's not dual clutch, just give a more responsive torque converter auto.

To bad you can't afford to buy them because of thier dealerships greed charging thousands over MSRP. Toyota needs to sell direct to the consumer or risk not surviving. I have seriously considered their Grand Highlander for my wife, and Tundra for me, but will not be price gouged. I hope they can do something before it's too late, the brand is getting a very bad rep for it.

I’ll definitely buy this, been wanting to trade in my third gen taco for a GR Supra or a GR Corolla but have been very indecisive, main reason is because I don’t want to loose the capability of having a bed and put things in the back but I want more Horsepower and the ability to modify and have Supra power with reliability and I believe this is what I am looking to get the perfect balance.
I had an 07, speedway blue & I loved it! I have a 23 Tundra now and if you guys made a 4 door manual XRunner in a bright blue I would get one. I think a 3.4 twin turbo would please everyone. Who else has a manual race truck on the market? Come on Toyota- LETS GO PLACES!

As a 49 year old 90's street truck guy (I have a '94 Chevy Single Cab Short bed that I'm restoring) I love it. Keep this engine as an option. Maybe TOYOTA across the tailgate. Maybe a black tailgate handle or no handle. Possibly an inch or two lower on the stance.
Just imagine that with a 6L 750HP V8, it will be so sick
Over 400 HP. You might get 500 with a tune. That's crazy power for a taco.

One of my biggest mistakes in life was trading my 2006 speedway blue X runner, this is amazing, yes I would most definitely be first in line for this.
100%, I would purchase it if it had AWD and TwinTurbo six cylinder, that has an aptitude for being tuned.
The styling on the truck up, is 100% gorgeous. Best looking new design, I have seen, and some thing I look forward to getting into.

X runner needs to be all wheel drive. Make it functional and fun.
Toyota needs to figure out their paint issues before they keep releasing all these new vehicles. Its absurd they allow something that has been an issue for years continue to be such a widespread problem.

I know that the chances are slim, given the current interest level of off-road trucks. But YES, I would DEFINITELY be interested in a new X-Runner! I had an '07, and loved it, but unfortunately and regrettably had to sell it, after only about a year and a half. That was my baby, which had about 3,500 miles on it, when I let it go. When I went through all of my criteria, for my next vehicle, the X came out on top, and being in Speedway Blue Pearl, only added to it. They are SO HARD to find, now, and even more so, in good condition. I have been on the search for an '09/10, for a few years now. This concept is fantastic, other than it being an automatic, which I know is to "be expected". The line may not be very long, vs over with the TRD Pro, Off-Road, etc., but YES, Toyota, BUILD THAT X-Runner!! 🤞🏼💙👍🏼👍🏼😎
