Lower Brine Cave - Chill Cover/Remix (Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2)

This track plays when you are traversing Lower Brine Cave in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Darkness, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky. This also plays in other dungeons such as some floors of Zero Isle.
I was working on Aegis Cave, but I lost the motivation on that project even though I got a lot of it done. I ended up turning to Lower Brine Cave, and this project felt a lot easier (or maybe it was just more fun). But, the mastering part of this project was annoying.
The artwork comes from the games themselves. The graphic director is Fuyuhiko Koizumi, but I am not sure if they made the art. A Reddit user, u/smooshie, upscaled the art.

My winter classes just ended, so I will finally be free for another six days until the spring semester starts again... that will surely be busy.

The way this is specifically composed hits such a passive sense of dread. It's damp, murky, wet and cold, all you wanna do is find your way out.

The deep notes are so ominous but those high echoing notes perfectly give the vibe of a massive cave where the dripping water almost sounds like music. I feel like this is how the characters must've felt when entering, knowing that danger lurks terrifyingly near, but there's no way to truly know when and where to look. You're in the dark, and every drip or tap sounds like an enemy to you.
This is wonderful, and perfectly gets the ambiance.
