Yes Yes Yes, an absolutely fantastic choice for an acapella group! I'd go for Oh Come, All Ye Faithful or The Great Movie Medley or the Impossible Dream. Actually any of their songs!
You mention how Voctave is more of a chamber group with 11 singers, with several on a part. Jamey, their arranger (and one of the tenors) writes different parts for each voice and so while they sometimes meet, there's plenty of places where everyone has a different note.
I was sure you were gonna enjoy this medley, and I could see your excitement as choristers, loved it! As an opera and choir enthusiast it makes me somewhat proud that the last solo is sung by a spinto soprano , really showcase the versatility of a well trained voice, we need more sopranos singing low, cause they surely can. As next reaction I'd suggest either their Disney Showstoppers medley or The Impossible Dream.
Thoroughly enjoyed your reaction. (The order of the songs was actually based on register, from high soprano to low alto, not chronological.). Although they are Broadway and not Disney inspired my two other favorite Voctave songs are "Impossible Dream" and "Someone Like You."
You’re right! We can hear it quite clearly in our room since we have a subwoofer, but in our video it comes from a screen recording, which might not have as much of an oomph. Thanks for the feedback though! We’re actually thinking of investing in new equipment once we move to our new home later this year 😉
This was a much better reaction than the last one I saw of you rwo. I gave the last one a thumbs down 👎be a use she was laughing like a crazy lady everytime the bass singer went low and to me it was rude!! But this reaction was far far better!!! Keep up the good work
