He's got the most beautiful voice ever. Brings tears to my eyes, mainly because he's not able to sing like he used to, due to having a stroke in 2013, as well as undergoing brain surgery to remove a clot. They said it left him with a rare condition called apraxia, which impacts ability to speak, and communicate effectively. Over the years he's had to go through extensive physical therapy to help regain his strength. He's also worked with speech therapists to help him regain his ability to communicate. He still struggles with communicating and uses a device to speak to his wife and others. Despite all that he's been through, he's still the same person on the inside, he's always so positive and uplifting about everything he faces in life and he's still got a goal of one day being able to sing completely like he used to. He's appeared in a video that all the country artists did together called "Artists of then, now and forever" you should definitely check out sometime soon. A lot of reactors that react to this song, likes to challenge themselves to see how many artists they know just by seeing them in the video. They go by really quick, so you just only have a few seconds to say their name, but its cool to see how in the beginning they didn't know any artists, but after reacting to a lot they now are learning more and more faces in the genre.
The beauty of Randy Travis. Well one of the many beauties is that he stands there with a guitar or a mic and no theatrics just him and his music and the crowd goes absolutely crazy. The man is criminally underrated in the music world. An absolute icon.
Randy Travis is a national treasure, such a unique voice. My idea of a perfect afternoon is one where Randy Travis drops by for bbq... smoked brisket, baked beans, tater salad, fresh lemonade... the works. It's a good excuse to break out the acoustic guitar, too. ;) Thanks for another visit with Randy Travis, Britt!
Absolutely beautiful and sweet, he rocks you gently, like a moma rocks her baby as she sings, love that line, no net, just you to catch me when I fall, this line paints a beautiful picture of a person leaping into the waiting arms of the One that loves them unconditionally and wholeheartedly 🙏
Randy has a bit of a complicated history ( don't we all?) What is undeniable is that VOICE! Hearing a Randy Travis song is something that you experience at a basic level. It can warm your heart or break your heart, but it is always more than just words and music. Thanks, Randy.
I loved this song. It hit me hard the night my grandpa died. Driving over those old railroad tracks in the early morning darkness to my grandmas house to tell her he had passed. It still makes me tear up to hear it.
Whenever I hear this song it takes me back when I felt so free. I had the same experience as a child riding my bicycle down this long steep hill with no hands on the handlebars.
🌬🌬🌬🔥🔥🔥 well all right Britt .. good morning with a beautiful Randy Travis song telling us a story. That is a good start to the day , if you ask me. 🔥🔥🔥🌬🌬🌬
Randy showed off his whole range, in a song called If I Didn't Have You. He seemingly goes from the top of his range, to the bottom, within a sentence. It's really fun to listen to. Another one that I like is A Better Class Of Losers.
I would love to hear your reaction to Randy Travis singing “Promises”. It is just him and his acoustic guitar. It will rip your heart out of your chest.
So much enjoy your channel and you do crack me up in a good way. I've seen Randy in concert 4 times and he never failed to bring his best to and for his fans. I do so much miss that he's not able to perform anymore cause I would go see him in a heartbeat. Randy Travis for me will always be in my top 5 male artists in country music.
My mom got me the CD this was on when I was a kid, and just a couple years ago, she got me the DVD of that same concert. So it was like it came full circle. Hearing this took me back to those days when it felt like I didn’t have a care in the world. Sitting there soaking up all this music. My parents, although not musical themselves, they nourished my musical talents, and also my love of it in general. They would see me gravitate to a certain artist, like Randy, Hank, Elvis, etc, and they would feed my hunger for this music.
Britt I love that you are going down Randy's rabbit hole. Love the reactions and I wish you would listen to his songs, deeper than a holler and digging up bones. Two more great songs
Please react to his song "Diggin' Up Bones". It's one of the songs my dad used to sing to me when I was a little girl. I was too young at that time to understand the story behind the song, but I just loved hearing my dad sing it to me. I haven't found a Randy Travis song that I haven't liked yet. Thank you for your hard work. May God Bless You and Yours.
1:47 My gosh. That Waka Flocka song. 😂 The girl was blasting that song in her house the first time I ever done the "deed". She was 5 years older than me. That was the first time I ever heard that song.
Love your reactions! Nolan Taylor - "68" (radiowv x Truthful Sessions) is a great song not alot of people know about! It's a true song about how not everyone has a good mom :(
He's a true treasure. He doesn't sing anymore due to a stroke, but the smile is still there. Wonderful man.

i just saw some really good news that he has some songs that he is working on

You did a great job he is a friend and the nicest man, he is not doing great. Pray for him.

He and George Strait made Country Music cool again in the early 80"s.
Hermosa musica . saludos desde Argentina
Most of Randy's biggest hits where writen by Paul Overstreet. A Artist you should check out.

Wish he was able to still make music I grew up to my grandpa listening to Randy Travis, Dolly, Travis trit brooks and Dunn all the greats
You're so sweet. I just love you. Thanks for the videos.
❤It SSSOOO fits you! You are Adorable ❤❤❤
Ole Randy has a heck of a voice and was one of those who could tell a damn good story in a song.
That warble in his voice is very endearing. I wonder if country artists figure out that signature sound, like George Jones did.
I would love to hear your reaction to Randy Travis singing “Promises”. It is just him and his acoustic guitar. It will rip your heart out of your chest.
Randy's song called "It's Just A Matter of Time" is great.
It has a somewhat different feel to it than his usual songs.
Its just a matter of time should be reacted to
love that song
When he goes low, it’s called baritone

The man
I'm a very big fan of Randy Travis but I have to say you look so amazing with your hair hair now and I know I shouldn't say that
Randy came along when country music seemed to be losing its way. He brought it back to the more traditional .
Today's Country Music sure needs a Randy Travis again!!
Love the Yankees hat😊
Lol, yes, he, George Strait, Randy Travis, and Alan Jackson SAVED Country music and brought it back to the forefront!
Britt I love that you are going down Randy's rabbit hole. Love the reactions and I wish you would listen to his songs, deeper than a holler and digging up bones. Two more great songs
Great song and reaction. Always enjoy these
Thanks for the memories! I had forgotten about this song.❤

To me, This is a song about someone who has his heart broken and learning to fall in love again.
So happy you reacted to this song it’s my favorite by him glad you enjoyed
1:47 My gosh. That Waka Flocka song. 😂

Oh my I suggested this and I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Wasn’t that fun? If you need anymore suggestions, I got you. 😘
👆🏻⚠️SCAM ALERT⚠️👆🏻
Need to watch Forestella for harmonies, they are the kings
Try Randy Travis 1982.
I'm assuming that "look heart, no hands" in the hip hop context translates to "let's burn down a city & go get our nails did"
It's s metaphor
He is a great I would like to see you react to Jamey Johnson lead me home
You gotta react to “It’s just a matter of time” by Randy. Not gonna give any spoilers, just give it a listen
If you like Randy you must listen to the king of the deep voiced country singers Josh Turner. You'll be impressed..and then some.
Also no hands when you ride a bicycle
You got to check his song before you kill us all out it’s great
Paint me a Birmingham Tracey Lawrence or anything by Keith Whitley
Brit...please check out CONWAY TWITTY
Love your reactions! Nolan Taylor - "68" (radiowv x Truthful Sessions) is a great song not alot of people know about! It's a true song about how not everyone has a good mom :(
Britt...not every voice is tenor...Randy is baritone or bass. Thanks.
