..."Just to let her know, she will not be getting this back."...Sherry, You made me literally laugh out loud with that comment. I had to temporarily stop this vid and let you know, and I'm still smiling! Sherry, You're the BEST of the BEST!!!
This is a great way to save special cards from special people or occasions! I’m going to hunt around for an old greeting card from my late dad to make into a keepsake box, preserved with his signature inside. I think I’ll either spray it with polyurethane or paint over the whole thing with UV resin to keep it nice for a long time!
I made boxes out of vintage cards I had for over 20 years. I sold them at a craft fair. People loved them. Thank you so much for teaching me how to do this. I have come back and watched again for a refresher course.
Hi Sherry.... Very cute.... My daughters and I used to make boxes like this but smaller. We put a little gift inside and hung them on the tree...... Very cute boxes
I love your use of the tree to present your gift. I make package boxes that I can hang on the tree with gift cards, notes of encouragement, promise date notes, or whatever your creative mind comes up with.
Sherry, I like the fact that it's an easy, fast, perfect size, no paper wasted complete CUTE box. I can even embellish(or not) the cut-out square tabs to add to the belly band. Ooo- that's a lot of facts, thanks.
I made these boxes and filled them with homemade candy. I absolutely love your channel, blue fingernail polish and all the other joyous things you choose to freely share. I stumbled upon your channel and now I have almost everything I need to do all the projects with you. May God keep you and yours during these trying times. 🙏
Sherry, I remember a tutorial you did on using envelopes to make closable boxes accentuated with decor of choice. This tutorial uses the cards which already have decor but can be used for smaller boxed contents. This is great because I 💘 Love baking 🍪cookies and making Fudge 😋 in great quantities. 👍 I will now be able to fill these boxes with goodies and have enough! This tutorial 👌 is "on spot" with a spirit of just giving 👏 for any occasion 😀 at anytime! Thanks so much for making it easy-to-use at all times necessary!
Oh, I see room in that cute box for at least 6, maybe 12, of those peanutbutter cups.😋 Maybe the timing of this video is why I couldn't bring myself to make more cards or albums out of the rest of my Candy Retro paper. It was meant to be saved to make boxes! Thank you! Just about all of the patterns would work! And being able to flat fold them until needed is perfect! I'll just put them in my box drawer of my rolling giftwrap cart, tillthen.😊 thanks, again, Sherry!
Another fantastic project, thank you for showing us how to make and for sharing your talent with us. You never siece to amaze me. Have a wonderful day.
I LOVED all of your Dollar Tree cards projects last year and I bought about 6 boxes of different cards. I still have them - used some but many left, so I've already made 4 of these! Love them.. and the pictures always turn out just right on the top and the words inside (the DT cards have a verse inside). I am going to cut one a little shorter, so it's more of a square, and see how that works out, as love the tiny gift boxes too. They close nice and tight too, which I love. I can see how nice they would work too with heavy cardstock and then just mat it, but there's something fun and novel about using a card!
A couple of days ago, I was at the dollar store and saw some thank you cards. I thought, "I wonder if the Posh Paper Lady has a craft for these?" Now, here we are...😁
Thank you so much for another great idea, Sherry. I’ve been trying to find a better way to store letters from family and friends. This project will be perfect!
I can hardly wait to convert some of the cards I have sitting around into pre-planned boxes that will lie flat in a container until needed. I will just choose the one I want and glue the tabs, belly band and embellishments making it truely a fast gift box! I am so glad you take the time to share your creative genious with all of us. Inspired by you I am currently buying all kinds of rolled papers including wall papers when I see them in stores or garage sales. When my creative side finds some time I will pull up one of your videos and create with you. The other day I bought some of those little metal corners you use to put little feet to a project. It adds such elegance to the item! I can hardly wait to share this video with some crafty ladies at church! There is so much ministry that these cards turned into boxes can do. It would be an easy project to take to work too. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!
You are so welcome , I get so mad at people that say nasty remarks and try to bring people down to their mean and nasty levels and it's not just you they are doing it to they are doing it to other good people on here and I just want to let you know you have alot of people that love what you are doing and enjoy you and your tutorials I appreciate them very much thank you for taking time to share all your wonderful crafts and personality Sending a hug 🤗
You are beyond clever! THANK YOU for all your posh ideas…love your style, not too shabby and not too glam…well, everyone can take your ideas and make it their own style. Your videos seem to give us the bones and the dress-up is on us. Thanks!
Sherry you really are the Queen of Crafting! I just love to watch and listen to you crafting away! I make my own cards so have lots of leftover bought cards and I hate waste! Thank you so very much! You are really awesome!
Hi Sherry, I am not a crafter at all. But I am a baker and candy maker. I think I can actually make this box to put my treats in to give as gifts! I don't feel intimidated by this project. I love your videos--I watch them for fun. Thank you for this tutorial, I better get busy practicing, maybe I'll get it right in time for Christmas. Oh, and I had a dog named Loki, too. 🐶💙
I've loved all the boxes you have made a while ago using various greeting cards. This is wonderful. You're using the entire card for a box that can be used for anything. If you happen not to have the 5X7 cards, just use cardstock & carry on. You are such a creative & very well talented lady Sherry. Be well & TYFS
Thank you Sherry! I love how you take things like cards that most of us already have and turn them into something useful! By the way I went to Dollar Tree yesterday and bought more placemats! I'm addicted to making tote bags!
I've never done any paper crafting but I was fascinated by your channel so I subscribed. Last year, I got a ton of inexpensive Christmas cards. My idea was to use as decorations on cards, boxes, put in a picture frame. Never thought I could make a box LOL. Love this project.
Sherry, I just discovered your channel recently. I love how you turn ordinary things into the most beautiful and useful objects. Your voice is very soothing and you patiently explain each step. Thank you.
Welcome to my channel Raffaela!!! Thank you so much for joining my online crafting family!!! Don't forget to check the description for valuable information. Since you are new to my channel, I am attaching a playlist that might be helpful. ua-cam.com/play/PLYkzy7CwEmzb5z4blannOwFDGRHMB-BUW.html
I wish I had known about this 5 or 6 years ago when I was still working and pre-pandemic when we were in the office. It would have perfect for my office team mates! So easy and fast.
Well Sherry, you've done it again! You never cease to amaze me. This project is brilliant!!! I absolutely adore your Christmas card paper crafting projects. Inexpensive, easy, and BEAUTIFUL!!!
This is wonderful! I have been trying to come up with a lovely way to create an Advent calendar for my toddler grandson that is fun, easy and inexpensive ! Also, may do a monthly little box to mail to my daughter …. New, first time, mommy …. Thank you, so much Ms. Posh Lady ❤️
Thanks so much! So many assume because I love making cards that I want to receive them as gifts. While I appreciate that, it's not the same as knowing what to do with them! Thanks for helping me out!
Sherry I made some of these flip boxes from one of your previous tutorials and filled them with homemade face mask & a little bottle of hand sanitizer bottle at the beginning of the pandemic & handed them as gifts to friends and neighbours. Everyone was so appreciative. This is a great idea using up cards. "Recycle, recycle "thanks again Sherry xx🤗💕
Thank you Sherry!! This is such an awesome idea, especially for me. I have so many left over Christmas and all occasion cards in all sizes that I will definitely use up for sure now. I always find it challenging when I have to make several of something for a group and I have to find, cut up and sometimes use up papers I would rather use for something else. This way I can just simply purchase a package of cards and everything is coordinated. Less time, less money, and no one feels like someone else has received a prettier paper design. In addition to all that, these boxes will make my life even simpler. Especially, when I need to find something quick to take for a thank you for hosting gift when arriving somewhere we’ve been invited. Whew...genius as always. Thank you again, take care.🥰
Thank you, Sherry! I have learned so much from your generosity! May the promises of Luke 6:38 pour out on you! I am so thankful to God for you. Many blessings!
Sherry this little box is a delight. I have some leftover cards that I won’t send out again (I don’t like sending the same card the next year, just yet another quirky thing 😂). I have some cards that will be perfect! I have cute animal and dog cards...how cute to fill with dog treats for our canine buddies!!! I will definitely be doing an assembly line if these to use up all those cards!!! Thank you my brilliant friend! RedG says hello to Loki! I told RedG what a good lil dog Loki was and listened to the mama...was quiet and settled....RedG just gave me a blank stare 😂😂😂! My big ol’ baby boy....😜
Hello! I am so glad I recently found your channel. I have watched several of your box making videos and was amazed. I may never BUY a box again! 😁 I saved all of your videos so I can review them later. TFS! (Linda)
Love this so much. Thank you so much for your time, and for always blessing us with your creativity. I can only imagine the hard work and countless hours you put into your craft, and for that, I appreciate yiu. Thank you once again. God bless you ❤

It's true 😂😂😂
Loki distracted you! Sweet! I feel like I am there with you! Giggling a little!

Also great for upcycling to use old Christmas cards😀. Just to glue a piece of new paper on the writing ( the inside) and new to go👍 awesome
I made these boxes and filled them with homemade candy.
