I grew up with aic (43 years old) and that's one of my all-time favorite aic songs ... good work. I'm a drummer myself and it's a pleasure to see that the next generation is still interested in good music
When I got my Roland TD50K2 this is one of the first songs I started playing because you really get to appreciate how the Toms make the pocket stand out. I’m a 40 year old who just started drumming but this album on CD was a lot of my lunch money back then. Cheers
I am 44 and wearing the 'dirt' T-Shirt right now, utterly unironically - love that the band has lived on beyond Stan's death. In fact, I have been introduced to some amazing musicians - wasn't that the whole idea?
Sean is such an underrated drummer, may not be the most technical guy out their but his drums always perfectly fit Jerry’s writing. Whole band was/is insanely talented, Jerry is one of the best songwriters ever.
I can't stop listening to this song performed by you, over and over again. There is something in your way of playing it that is adding another dimension to it. without hesitation, more than fifty of all reproductions are mine.
1. Drums sound amazing 2. Footwork is so great, in time but not too tight, grooves. Bet anything everyone who watches this feels it. 3. Looks like she is having a blast. Don't ever stop.
The mix and clarity on this one is brutal. That kick and snare are just perfect sounding. And you’re ghosting the crap out of that snare the entire time. Awesome.
I can't believe I just realized but unlike some famous UA-cam drummers, Brooke does everything one take. Notice how everything is smooth, no clip cutaway or or anything. Like when alot of famous UA-cam drummers mess up, they will merge different clips together. Brooke does it all continuously. Wow!
@David Lytch Well one take has different meanings. I meant in one sitting. Sure maybe she did about 20 takes and chose the best one. But most of the UA-cam drummers just splice it together and don't have a continuous take.
@@bobbmars Well to each their own. I personally do one take(continuous) I also don’t quantize anything. I want it to sound like music not like a robot. A lot of people call me old school but I’m 26. Everyone is caught up in editing these days.
@@Xtremecarfan10188 I'm not sure what word you meant to use (maybe monetize?), but quantize is not it. Fricken awesome word though. Thanx for teaching me a weird I'd never heard before.
Awesomeness!! Wonderful performance. Rip Layne. 😪 excellent drumming to this great tune n band!! CONGRATULATIONS on the new band PLUSH just heard the tune on SiriusXM FM all girl band rockn it out!! Future seems brighter! Love your cover. 👍💜🎼🥁🔥🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟💯🤘keep rockn n stay safe🤘
The clarity of the high hat and every thing is amazing. Your recording equipment has gotten Better & Better we notice! I listen 2 yours more than original because your sound quality through my house & car speakers makes me feel like I'm AT a LIVE SHOW! I Believe Layne & band would be proud of you and the quality of sound! THANK YOU!!!
Wow, that was absolutely perfect...Even the ghost notes, the little pushing and pulling from the chores into the verses and the dynamics were spot on. Kinney himself couldn't do better and he's an absolute monster player. Great Job Brook!
Love the candles! Great homage to one of the best unplugged performances any of us have ever seen. Layne and Jerry were amazing, but Sean Kinney took that unplugged performance to another level!! Love your channel. Great cover!
Sean Kinney managed to create drumgasm with this song. The whole structure of the song is mindblowing with a phenomenal final delivery. This band was so awesome with Lynne.
This is one of the best sounding recording of drums I have ever heard. The playing is tight, and exact. The mic setup and mixing is literal perfection. Loved every second of this video! (all 5 times I watched it in a row, haha)
Any 1 that can perform an execute a Fantastic cover of The Mighty Alice In Chains Tune "Would" it is you Brooke. Unbelievable to say the Least & as Always, A Pleasure to Hear & View!!!. Great job Here Player!!!! *******!
I thought she did well. However, she will have difficulty in the studio if she doesn't work out the timing issues. Don't get me wrong, the issues are very minor but during a recording session, she will have issues.
Drums are underappreciated, in the sense of a great song like this it just blends right in and makes the songs greatness ( along with everything else of course)
I think it's because the tempos of original song are obvious...it's not Brooke...she's just following the change and they hear that... She did awesome !!
Closed my eyes and listened and you just straight up nailed it. I've heard this song hundreds of times and I heard all the nuances as I remember them to be. AIC is near and dear to the hearts of 70's and 80's kids and many rock and roll fans of all ages. Dirt is a great album to start with.
After years and years of watching youtube, you will be the first person I support monitarly on Patreon.....what you do is absolutely amazing. Thank you.
Wow love the pose and that snare sounds so good . Love this track and your drumming gets better and better, That last jazzy track was awesome as well 👌👌👌
This is what a professional stadium drummer sounds like. Thanks Brooke. Takes me back to better days. I miss them.
I have officially found my new favorite thing on UA-cam. Just awesome.
She’s not a “thing”

That's why I stopped complaining about 'the youth'. There's definitely a new generation feeling good music👍
Yeah, Millennial music is over, now for some new stuff
Who else was rocking while watching this great performance and felt immediately 28 years younger?
Like a red headed stepchild... 🤙🤾🏻♂️

People forget that everyone in AIC was really talented and top notch. You did them real justice.
They are still talented

Sean Kinney is one of my favorite drummers and she did this very well.
Sean is very underrated. badass drummer.
So nice to see someone with a clean style rocking out. There is hope in the next generation!
This song shows what a genius AIC was. The parts all worked so well together. Each instrument played perfectly in harmony with the others.
Yeah, there's just something about that brand that others just can't reproduce! Btw, I happen to also fly drones! Interesting
Brooke your So Awesome and Amazing. Really talented and Creative. Your Stunning and Incredibly Beautiful 😍
You are really in my opinion, the best drummer in the music industry today no doubt
you are jocking ahahahhahahahaahahahha she's an average decent drummer
She’s a legend in the making..... I’m calling it now...
Hi Brooke. In this difficult period for everyone you are the Rock Angel who lights up our days.
The best vocalist and guitarist harmony voice of all time. Alice in Chains is one of best gift of my life

Never really appreciated how complicated the drum part was to this song until watching someone play it through - fantastic work!
This always sounded like a fun song to play on the drums. Unfortunately I was just the singer. Awesome job, btw!!!!
What an era for music. Not to mention the “Singles” soundtrack was gold from intro to outtro. Sorely underrated
Great work, I love that song. You nailed it.
That was deadly, just like your chops. Your folks should be SO frigging proud of you! So talented.
Yeah it was....
Awesome Alice In Chains Drum cover. You Are so Talented, Brooke
The snare drum sounds pretty amazing 😎

Yes
It has that crunch of Sean Kinney's

Crushed it B !! man 30 years later and everytime I hear this song , I have to play it at least 10 times in a row!
