Where did you get the parts from. Looking to reseal my cylinders. Thanks.
I found the seal kits on Amazon. I think eBay has them as well.
Great video. Thank you!
You're welcome! Hopefully it helped you out!
Thank goodness the video straight to the point what I needed. I’ll Follow help me restore my boat to glory
Glad the video was helpful!
@@ncv4708 yeah I didn’t know how to take the whole thing out or what I was supposed to do but you helped
Where did you get that specialty tool to install and remove the caps? Have a part number for the tool?
It's a generic pin spanner wrench from Amazon. I believe there are several adjustable ones that you can even interchange the pin sizes for around $20.
Hey dude. Can you post up a Link to the parts used? that would be super helpful. Thanks!
www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08LD7HFS7Those are the complete trim cap/seals. The internal seals you should be able to find in kits for whatever outdrive you may have (DP, 270, 290, so forth)
Looking forward to the interceptor build!
Will be posting the fuel system build on it soon!
Well explained with no extra chatter.
Thank you!
what do you recommend for teh lube for the o rings?
I would just use gear oil to lube the o-rings since that will be available anyway.
Do you have a kit # for that?
I actually do not. I found the kit on eBay if I remember correctly.
