thanks Sammy, I gained a lot of info on your videos so can I offer you a suggestion? you could make a stand to hold the compound so it is held vertically in front of the job so then you wont have to hold the polisher with one hand to load the pad, other than that, it always takes hard work to get the perfect outcome.

you can get a Makita ga7911 online on the Home Depot website for about 225.00 or so I hope this helps.
12000rpms is too fast you will end up burning the aluminum....6000rpm is the max you should go if experienced at using a grinder. Hope this helps
is it safe to polish tanks while filled with fuel ?
I'm getting lines in my tank when I polish. Burn mark how can I get those out
