- 1000+HP Evo X with a Sequential Trans, 76mm Turbo and MoTec! If you're an OG TRC fan you'll know this car well, Gordon's Evo X has been featured many times on the channel over the past 6+ years. The first time we met Gordon the Evo was making about 350awhp, fast forward 6 years later and it's a ridiculously fast 1000+awhp street car. The final form of Gordon's evo couldn't be more badass, watch along as Gordon takes us for a few rips on 55psi and we look at the history of his car on TRC over the years. Enjoy!

As a Evo x owner myself I got so much respect for this dude. Knowing how much he’s put into this car over the years and how many headaches it prob gave him it’s awesome to see it’s final form 👍🔥
are these car reliable stock?
@@shiftautomotive854 extremely reliable. I know plenty of stock/fbo owners that are in the 100-150k range stock motor.
With that said if you get a MR the sst does have some known problems that may or may not end up costing you a bit. If you are looking for reliable go with a GSR

@@shiftautomotive854 Don't listen to him. They are really reliable stock. The engine and drivetrain components are designed to handle double the stock output; some component more than triple like the transmission.
World needs more evo content. So underrated, especially when done properly.

TRC Come shoot my Evo x. Completed build about a month ago. Car made 707whp on mustang dyno.
2 liter, 1000hp cars sound like they’re crying when u get on it. They sound so unhappy to rev… like they’re saying “bro, I’m not designed for the power you’re pushing through me”
But to bad they like high revs lol
Gordon, congrats on your new setup. Did you monitor your back pressure ratio with that much boost and a small 3.5” exhaust? Have you considered an exhaust valve installed on your downpipe? Will help a lot. Also your dyno graph drops off at 9.0k rpm, do you rev it to 10k? I would not do too much of that if you want it to last. Good luck and love the progress

WOW That XONA Turbo Is PURE TRASH, thats 68mm numbers. Those turbos don't work well especially the 76 and they're back ordered forever.
