With the transmission being the limiting factor, going 7s ...perhaps it’s not the right car to build it from the down up, it’s fast like lightening but potentially around corners is what this car is made to do
Full feature on this car:www.haltech.com/haltech-heroes-matt-galiano-and-his-evo-x/ It makes over 1000hp, runs low 8s and for a short while it held the title of the "World's Fastest Evo X" but there's a lot more to this Evolution than meets the eye! Enjoy:)
Oh by the way, the dark blue he’s talking about that his paint was colored originally was cosmic blue!!!! That’s the color of my evo and my favorite factory color haha
Probably too dry and technical for most people on here, especially the younger people who make up a good bulk of internet users. The other channels have more theater and entertainment value.
He isn't kidding about wasting money on multiple builds of the same car. Go all out save your money. If you keep altering your car it costs so much money and selling used parts sucks.
Slight advice, that intro song is the worst thing ever, every company seems to use it in their advertisement videos, and it is just pure pain, way to overused, just reeks of corporate marketing
4b11 is better, heads flow more than a 4g63 heads plus its lighter and comes with dual mivec in stock form, its a square design too 86 bore x stroke which makes it a free revving engine, its just that the 4b11 engine was on the evo x which was a heavier platform and aftermarket supplies back then when it first came out was not as abundant like the 4g63, but things has changed and starting to catch up, but speaking of tuning potential its capable of surpassing the mighty 4g63 mainly because of its overall better design.
great bit of advice about going all out in the beginning. do it once do it right. saving up and taking time will save you thousands.
Especially when that advice comes from a guy who did it the other way:)

Have followed your evo for a few years Matt, it’s awesome
Awesome build
Great build man, super impressive
Oh, tuning fork would’ve loved to have tuned this beast. Thought we would see the magician at work on his favourite car maker.
Such an awesome car Matt!! That ending haha, Let’s go browns!
Wicked evo
Why is there no PnP haltech for evo x users!?!?!?
Hi! My name is Matt and my dad got me into what is known as "the perpetual money pit syndrome"
Hi Matt.... I happen to envy you! :P
He enjoyed it that's what life is about
That intake manifold jizzz
Nice intake funnel... where can I get one??
Soooo does this mean you guys are going to make a jumper for the evo x? I'm sure a lot of guys would hop on that, their only option rn is motec.
Nice

What's the body kit he has on it. I want it
Is the block sleeved ?
What’s with the fin at the front of the bar?
To keep the sharks away.
Haltech more like to cross the finish line sooner because it’s not a JZ motor or Barra 🤣
Miss my car hopefully by November
Send it for the mitsi family bro got a fan over here on this side of the planet is Australia via New Zealand
hey EPA cars and fixing it up is therapeutic isn't mental more important
Whats the rim and tire setup on this thing? Its badass
From the article:
"15×8 Belak bead lock wheels shod with 26×8.5 MT ET drag tyres"
What do you have to do in order to run a set of wheels this size?
tpg tuning... dsm shootout... is the owner in ohio?
Follansbee in West Virginia
Tuner is near Pittsburgh, PA
Nuff respect me general. I'm doing my own build too. Aiming for 800hp.
painted over the most beautiful evo x color next to white. Sand looks good. But not better than that Cosmic Blue Pearl.
The only Cosmic Blue Evo owner in the world who doesn’t think Cosmic Blue is the best color on the planet
White is the better
Why aren't there many views on this channel?

We published this video quite a few years ago. Maybe we were trend setters back then!
I thought these motors were shit or are they just weak in stock form?
You thought wrong. If you consider a completely stock motor - including the head that holds 600hp. to the wheels is shit, then.......😂
@@TGUNNER777 Sorry must of got my shit wrong , Why do people prefer the 4g63 then?
@@ItzHoot the old school train of thought is that the 4g63 is better because it's iron block, which we know is not true.
@@magnetic0314 The 4G63 is easier to work on though, pushing roughly the same power on stock blocks
