- In Luv Subbin Episode 240, we visit the great state of Montana! Unfortunately, it turns out to be an semi epic fail. We end up camping at a Cabela's... Nevertheless, we show you some great boondocking cooking before heading off to Little Bighorn National Battlefield. From there, we stop at a Ro Ro campground to regroup before heading off to a bucket list place on our summer trip.

I am hungry, so watching Cindy whip up a great boondocking meal is killing me. The no shade reminds me of the spot I had at Bailey’s Point! Safe travels
Thanks Cotton Tales! Everyone talks about how fun it is to boondock - and it is - but not when the inside of the trailer is over 95 F...
@@LuvSubbin I do not like to regular camp at 95F. Safe travels
Glad you were able to make the best of it! 😊
Thanks Denise! That's about all you can do sometimes...
We always travel with full fresh, too.
Thanks for watching! It's always good to be prepared. plus the weight lowers the Center of Gravity which improves handling...
Great video! Thanks for keeping it real. We shopped at the Walmart in Sheridan while we camped at the KOA in Buffalo, WY.
Thanks guys for watching as always. Our trip is coming to a close shortly but we had a great time out west.
Stay at a Cabella s once only one there spaces were extra wide and long compared to Cracker Barrel but one of the nicest over night places i,ve stay at , you guys make the best of it good job 👍
Thanks for watching! RV life takes many twists and turns - this was just another memory in our wonderful year.
Prewett Creek RV Park on I-15., south of Great Falls, MT. We enjoyed three nights there last month while visiting with my brother locally (in nearby mountains). We then struck gold with late Yellowstone reservations for three nights in the center of the park (Fishing Bridge). Sorry for your challenges!
Thanks for watching! We'll keep Prewett RV Park in mind. Wow, getting a Yellowstone reservation was huge. We tried and tried. Next time we'll make advanced reservations.
We stayed there in August, great restaurant next door too.
You looked ready for the day to end and who would have expected it to still be so warm where you are. Yellowstone is a tough ticket, we are planning a trip for next September and already have our reservations. It is too bad that we have to plan so far in advance for this. We also have our reservation for the International Rally next year so maybe we will see you there.
Thanks so much for watching! We will definitely be at the International Rally in 2024 and will look forward to meeting you. Sadly, the next time we go out west we will be forced to make plans far in advance - something we dislike doing. Safe travels.
Loved your tiny shiny nice meet you all see you on the road
Thanks so much for watching! We enjoyed speaking with you as well and will look forward to seeing you again (Tampa?). Safe travels.
will definitely be in Tampa!!
Sorry you had trouble with finding a camp site and dumping. Honestly, not being able to dump would be the most worrisome to me.
As you say, that's when you just pull your boots up and just make the most of whatever happens.
Thanks for watching! We do not like towing with full grey or black tanks because with a rear corner bath, the tanks are way out in the back which is exactly where you do not want a lot of weight.
Did you say 119 days on the road? That's a big trip!
Thanks for watching! Looking at my spreadsheet, we are currently on day 173!
What is your preferred method to test the pressure from the supplied water? BTW - did you see any Jackalopes at the park?
Thanks for watching! I have an inline water pressure gauge. I screw it onto the top of my restricted Y valve. I attach the pressure gauge to the spigot and, with both of the ball valves closed, turn on the spigot. And no, disappointingly, we did not see any Jackalopes...
@@LuvSubbin thanks for the reply. Maybe a video on that?
@@edyost6433 Great idea! I actually have a video planned for the future showing how I hook up water to include why I love my coiled hose from Air Gear.
Wow not going to Yellowstone must have been a big disappointment
Thanks for watching! Yes it was but we had it in the back of our minds that without reservations it would be dicey. We'll be back and make reservations far in advance.
