    Thanks for the info. We will be calling you soon. We bought a high end nicely constructed couch, but cannot stand the feathers and having to keep re-fluffing the cushions. We love the shape, material, construction and color of our couch, so this is the perfect way for us to upgrade what we have. All our cushions have zipper access. Very excited. Thanks for your awesome video.

      Thanks so much for your comment! We're glad you found the video helpful. It sounds like you have a beautiful couch, and upgrading the cushions is a great idea to enhance your comfort. Zipper access makes it so much easier to customize! If you have any questions or need more tips as you go through the process, feel free to reach out. We're also excited for you!

    This was very informative and well presented. Looking to replace couch cushions . I'm thinking Qualex . Are you able to cut to specific sizes?

    • @FoamWizard
      @FoamWizard  14 днів тому

      Thank you for the kind words! Qualux foam is the most premium option for couch seat cushions. It runs on the firmer side. Yes, we can cut to almost any shape and size!

    What would be the ideal for a sofa. I presume around 1.8 to 2 lb? Thanks for an excellent video

    • @FoamWizard
      @FoamWizard  18 днів тому

      Great question! For sofas, there are 4 foam types commonly used - High Density (1.8 lb, good quality), Lux (2.0 lb, very good quality), High Resilience (2.7 lb, excellent quality) and Qualux (3.0 lb, premium quality). Any of these would work just fine for a sofa! It would depend on your budget and how long you'd like the foam to last (the higher the quality, the longer the foam will last).

    i am looking at your website and would like to buy something for my needs
    if i may explain, i am 6'3 and 290lbs
    back in october 11, 2023 i received a 3" thick piece of foam measuring 22" by 22" from a different retailer (Density 2.24 LB/CF ) - i sit on it every day for 8-12 hours while working from home 7 days a week
    it already has flat spots from my butt and near the knees - and when i sit on it first thing in the morning, after about 20 minutes its flat and my butt hurts and my back hurts
    which foam from your site would be best for my situation? cost is not an issue
    i was thinking that the REBOND foam at 8.00 lb/cf might be too hard/stiff ?
    would the DUNLOP LATEX at 5.90 lb/cf be a good choice for my needs ?
    thank you in advance

      Great questions! Based on your description, the most common foam type for your application would be Qualux foam at a firmness of Extra Firm. Qualux foam carries a density of approximately 3.0 lbs per cubic foot and an ILD of 61 at a firmness of Extra Firm. We can produce this foam type and firmness to any shape and size needed. Qualux foam can be found here in a square or rectangle shape: foamonline.com/product-category/foam/qualux-foam/. Let us know if you need any further assistance!

    Charcoal foam sounds ideal for both sound and odour absorption of flatulence in seating cushion applications!

    • @FoamWizard
      @FoamWizard  26 днів тому

      Charcoal foam is commonly used for sound absorption! Charcoal foam is not used for odor absorption, though, because it does not have activated Charcoal as an ingredient. It's referred to as Charcoal foam due to its color - not physical properties!

      @ thank you great Wizard 😊 I shall continue my quest for finding a flatulence resistant foam.

    If you were to pick a foam that would absorb the impact of a golf ball without bouncing back as far and staying around an 1” or 2” which would you choose?

    • @FoamWizard
      @FoamWizard  2 місяці тому

      Great questions! Memory foam is most commonly used for golf simulators. We offer three different Memory foam qualities - Memory Foam Premium, Memory Foam Standard, and Memory Foam Light. 2" would be more common than 1"!
