Tourette's syndrome is a neurological condition and disability which causes involuntary movements called tics. I use my platforms on social media such as TikTok, UA-cam and Instagram to advocate and raise awareness for the condition and show what it is like living with a disability as a teen in school.
My name is Zara Beth (zeezee25 on tiktok) and I post videos about tics, tic disorders and what its like to be a teen living with Tourette's syndrome, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and a seizure disorder (NEAD/NES).
I show what its like having tics and Tourettes in class and in school and college, vlog, and I also bake, do other challenges and answer all your questions in Q and A videos.
I am also an ambulatory wheelchair user so I show what life looks like using various mobility aids and how needs change from day to day!
I am also a musician! My newest release is my first single (original song) called "She's Mine" which is now available on all streaming services - I sing and play piano, guitar, ukulele and I write, produce, mix and master all my own songs and content myself! - Розваги
You constantly inspire me to continue to go outside and see the world and attend uni despite having tourettes. I used to be so scared of what people thought of me and I never let myself leave the comfort of my room, but over the last year I have been getting out all thanks to you spreading awareness and showing me it's okay to be yourself. Hi Zara :) seeing the aquarium made me so happy! Marine creatures are a big special interest of mine so yay! I relate to your experiences so much, I'm a 27 yr old queer, disabled and neurospicy hippie basically. I was diagnosed with FND back in 2021 and I could rant SO much about how ridiculous the process has been to get taken seriously. Also waiting to be assessed for autism but alas the waiting list in Scotland is utter shit! If you're up for writing back that would be really lovely but no pressure if not 👍💕

Tourette’s is considered a life-long disorder for most people, and she has a few small tics in this video, so yes she still has tics and she probably will for the rest of her life.
Can someone with Tourette’s pls say if shoulders twitching uncontrollably and saying “hm” way too many times is part of Tourette’s-?
