INTRO to PRE CUT QUILT KIT ~ Whispering Pines/The Fabric Hut

- I've been asked to demonstrate yet another pre cut quilt kit from the Fabric Hut! Also, I will be able to gift TWO whole quilt kits to TWO lucky winners ~ one in the US and one International! Keep watching! You may be the lucky winner:)
Join me for Truelove Family stories (which I have many, as a mother of 10 kids), Mothering Autism, with our Maxwell on our many fun car rides, and Free quilting class and sewing lessons! And as in a 'classroom' setting, my tutorials are approximately 1/2 hour+ long....So Join me in my home sewing room, out and about and trying to make all sorts of quilted goodies! Be aware ~ I like to chat and probably repeat myself over and over, (and stutter sometimes), and if this annoys you, then view elsewhere - but, if patient, you hopefully will learn a new method or technique and get an insight into a very large family and their crazy fun:)

Actually a great idea to include the cutting information and the templates. Buy the kit once and you could make many quilts by cutting your own fabric. Pretty colors in this one, can’t wait to see it finished Jean.

Good morning Jean from a wet wales. Looking forward to seeing you make up this new quilt. I just remembered that I have one of the 60’ triangle rulers somewhere, bought and never used☹️so perhaps I should dust it off and give it a whirl. Love to all the Trueloves 🏴

I was thinking since it's an equilateral triangle with a height of 7.5", I could easily make a plastic template (higher sides like you have is preferable, however). But we improvise when necessary, right?!

I have a question for you about this quilt. I just received this kit and noticed the triangles have two points and one flat tip. What’s the reason for this? Is there a certain way to line the edges up to sew them together to make certain to keep the points when joining rows together? I appreciate any information you can give. Thanks!
I will be putting up a video tomorrow addressing this exact issue!! The video is a 'cliff' notes' of how I put together the Whispering Pines quilt kit:) Watch this space!! Just remember to PERFECT your quarter inch seam. That is of utmost importance in the making of this particular quilt!
